I'm so picky about my scrambled eggs. They can't be runny at all but still fluffy. My daughter, when she was little, I had to make her eggs because my husband would over cook them and she would say they were "brown" and mom's eggs aren't brown. :) I've been making egg in a hole since high school and that was over 30 years ago! We would take the bread circle and make a mini toast with it. I love eggs. I literally eat them every day! After watching this, I need to make egg in a hole for my family. I make a jalapeno egg bake for my family all the time. Super easy and great left over!! Thanks for posting ;)
@Ruthann75 жыл бұрын
Donna Daniel do you have recipe for jalapeño egg bake?
@donnadaniel53855 жыл бұрын
@@Ruthann7 yes, super easy. 4 to 5 eggs beaten lightly. Mix eggs with 1 cup sour cream until mixed. In a 9x13 sprayed dish put 2 large cans of diced green chilis, then cover with shredded cheese lay the cheese on thick. I use the whole bag, carefully pour the egg mixture over the cheese and bake on 350 for 30 to 40 minutes. I like the edges crispy so I bake until golden brown. You can add hash browns or Turkey sausage to this. I put on top of the cheese before I pour the egg mixture. Let cool a bit and slice. I serve with toast or English muffins. The next day you can cut squares and make egg sandwiches with it also. My husband LOVES IT.

Thanks so much, Donna. I will definitely be making this.

Nice reference to V For Vendetta. I love how V has his glove OFF too cook the egg in that scene despite being more protected with the glove ON, AND being almost 95% burnt from a previous incident with fire.

I remember when I was little, before my family bought cookie cutters, my mom used to just take a bite out of the (yes, cold) bread to make the egg-in-a-hole. And even though I asked for egg-in-a-hole almost every day, she never complained. Good memories ❤ Thanks so much for the lovely video!! A trick I learned about omelets is you cook the top by putting it in the oven on broil. Just make sure that the handle do your frying pan isn't plastic. Then when you move it to the plate that's when you fold it in half on the transfer.

@rayradiance6665 жыл бұрын
For the omellete, you can just put the pan under the the broiler so that the runny top cooks, therefore, no need to even flip in pan.

Hard boiled eggs are easier to peel when you dip them in warm water after they are cooled enough to touch. I find that cold water makes the shell seize to the egg, but the warm water helps to release it so it slides out of the shell.

Jesus loves you all! He wants a relationship with you and he is coming back soon! There are many eyewitness testimony and historical evidence that he is true such as the accounts of Josephus who was a Roman historian, Cornelius Tacitus who was a Roman senator, Lucian of samasota, Geographical reliability, and many more! All you have to do to be saved is fully believe in Jesus’s death on the Cross for your sins!
