77 year old grandma raised on elk and deer was gifted elk. Wanted to try the liver and onions loved it. They asked if I wanted the heart so I decided to try that, so I am here on your channel learning how to prepare it. Saw your post about testicles. Decided not going there but enjoy. I am the only one out of four siblings that will eat deer and elk even though they were all raised on it they love the hunt, but always give it away.

Thanx Keith for sharing. Never had Elk Heart, but I have had Beef, Pork, Deer. I agree that when is is properly cleaned and Marinated it is excellent. Fried in Bacon grease adds more Flavor. 😃
