I like his way of cooking it, it's much simpler than the traditional way of taking it out if the pan and resting it for a few minutes like 3 times, and his method in my opinion gives the same exact results

@@samuelhodil1458 no I wouldn't. I've worked in professional kitchens. He seasoned it with salt before cooking, and then absolutely layered it with giant chunks of salt. Too much. It's only good for the video. I'm sure the taste was salty as hell.

@Bhaumik look you just admitted you've never had beef, this is a super common way to make 1 specific dish. You don't give filet a lot of spices because you want to taste the filet. That piece of meat he is cooking is 40 to 50 usd a pound so people want to taste that meat, not strong spices. There's tons of variations in how to cook beef, but the general consensus when cooking high end steak is to keep the preparation minimal.

The flavor (butter, garlic, and rosemary) doesn't seep through, it only covers the surface. Salt seeps through, but you have to give it more time to do so.
