The only thing I can think about, when we played with them as little boys. What does grasshoppers taste like? How do they capture so many?
@Mykitchenbynana
@Mykitchenbynana 3 жыл бұрын
We also used to play with grasshoppers when we were young but this is a different type (slightly bigger and longer). They use bright lights, smoke and iron sheets to attract the grasshoppers but that's only in the rainy season.

Nana, If you leave the wings on does it change the flavor or texture? Do you ever serve with a starch like potato or rice? Thank you for the video. Blessings.

I always eat them plain and the wings aren't edible that's why I remove them

@Mykitchenbynana
@Mykitchenbynana 2 жыл бұрын
Most of them die during the frying process. You just have to be careful when removing the wings so that you dont smash them😁. Otherwise you just buy the ones which are ready for frying without wings and legs

@Mykitchenbynana
@Mykitchenbynana Жыл бұрын
Ohhh never tried snails As for grasshoppers, most of them die in the pan because of heat while others die of suffocation since you put like hundreds in one container

The Bible says Grasshoppers are clean to eat, also crickets and locust and that’s the only bugs you can eat, according to the Scriptures. All the other bugs are an abomination including the water bugs like shrimp, crabs etc.
