Never thought about shocking the eggs. I'll try that next time I boil some eggs for breakfast. Only thing I'd change is adding Twisted Cajun Creole Seasoning AFTER the eggs are done. Awesome video. Thanks

The intent is to shock the eggs to stop the cooking process and to make them easier to peel. If you run them under cool water, it will be better than not, but it will not have the same effect as shocking them.

There are other methods that work. This is just my favorite for having them come out perfect every time and peel super easy.
