How to cook Rice in a pot for one person? How to cook rice without a rice cooker? What is the best way to cook rice? How much water for rice? How long does it take for rice to cook? I always cook rice using a pot when I'm alone. Cooking rice in a pot need more water, I use a 1:1.1 ratio of rice to water.

Cook Time: 10 min
Total Time: 40 min
Yield: 1 serving
Ingredients
80g rice
88g water
Instructions
Put rice in a pot. Rinse the rice once and drain. Add water and soak for 30 minutes.
Bring it to a boil. Lower the heat, cover and cook until the rice becomes light and fluffy, about 4 minutes. Remove from heat. Leave it 10 minutes. Fluff the rice. Serve.

as shown in the video i believe you put the rice into the pot by picking up the small bowl of rice, lifting it above the pot(if your standing up and the bowl is on the counter above would be somewhere between your stomach and chest or a couple inches above the pot) with average speed to avoid moving your hand too fast and spilling it out of the side , than tilting your hand in a 180 degree angle into the pot
