Just like he said, it taste like a tough chicken gizzard with an earthy muddy flavor and sometimes the alum imparts a hint of its flavor to the finished process. Alum is a very powerful degreaser or de-slimer super astringent it has somewhat of a tangy lemon flavor it has so many household applications its a pity we dont have that here in usa

BattaBox Well , in Thailand we eat many kind of shellfish but not snail .. mostly we cook them as curry , spicy salad , fry with basil leave ... something like that na 😅😅😅anyways I like ur food and interesting even I heard that snails there are so expensive 😟😟😟 but here u can take them for free anywhere u found them ... my mom use to cook these snails in Africa but the ones we have here in Canada are farmed n they sell them very expensive like 5 pieces small ones included for $20 and if u cook these snails here u will have diarrhea for 2 weeks and one thing that freaks me out about these snails is if u cook them the snails will start bring out their little two horns n mouths.

Those are huge snails. They look like African snails. In United states I have not seen any kind of snail for years. I think our environment is too polluted. A lot of people are also getting cancers.
