If you feel depressed or not quite yourself, I strongly encourage you to seek out support, whether from a close friend, family member or therapist. Hair loss is extremely isolating, please don't go through this alone, it only makes the burden heavier. Feel free to reach out to me over Instagram @lylahkay, I'm not a psychologist, therapist, or anything of the sort, but I am more than happy to offer a kind ear, and support in any way that I can.

MIND:
- refocus your attention on yourself, not in comparing yourself to others
- everyone has challenges they face, this may just be your hurdle to overcome
- think about all of the other things that make you beautiful
- remember, you're not alone, so many people deal with hair loss, we're just all really good at covering it up!
BODY:
- take care of your body, your hair may actually thank you for it
- healthy/nutritious foods combined with daily exercise do wonders for increasing our metabolism (for weight loss, more energy, etc), and for a better mood/positive mindset
- having a healthy body and mind will equip you with the foundation to overcome and deal with your emotions
SOUL:
- thoughtful reflection on what you DO have
- think about those you love who are still with you
- appreciate being healthy and not having other health issues
- practice gratefulness, consider everything that makes your life special
And remember, tomorrow's a new day, a new chance to refocus, to love yourself a little more, to start fresh. So, if you need today to cry, to be angry, to be resentful, it's okay, we all have our days. But tomorrow, tomorrow is YOURS.
