Tip #8 for me would be “ You are not your diagnosis” 😊 I told my doctor Jesus was going to heal me and it’s fine.😅 Poor dude didn’t know what to say.😂

yes, in the end it's just our fysical vessel. we are looking forward to our spiritual vessel when Jesus our savior is coming back.

Thank you so much for this video. I was diagnosed with MS less than a month ago, and just having turned 22. I am not over exaggerating when I say I feel like my whole world just crashed down around me. I cry all the time, I’ve never been this depressed in my life and it’s very overwhelming. I’ve been considering getting professional help seeing how this is something I don’t think I’ll be able to work through on my own. Your video has given me tips on how to keep pushing through and remember that it will be okay. I haven’t found any of videos or articles of someone sharing the mental health aspect of their journey. So thank you so much for this.

You inspired me though I have no MS but another one. lupus. You are beautiful, I love your videos. Without the background music, it will be easier to hear you, it’s not easy to process two sounds at one time for some people like me.

Another good video Anna-Maria! A piece of wisdom I try to pass on is to 'Control the controllables' can we/you change a situation if yes, action a plan, if no then use the energy else where, because it's easy to burden ourselves with the things we can't change.

I love all of this! I don’t have MS but a very close loved one has it. This made me understand a few things that they have had a hard time expressing to me. I’d appreciate it if you took time out of your day to make a video of things you’d like you’d loved ones to know! Thank you!

a i I hope my video was helpful, even in the slightest. Everyone’s journey to acceptance will be different, and who knows, maybe the end of yours is just around the corner. To help you get there, you could use my tip to practice gratitude. Start off weekly and progress to daily gratitude exercises where you can. For me, I couldn’t be grateful for my body for a long time, only for things outside of my body (my home, clean water, my family etc) but then I came to love myself again through the self-care rituals I practiced. I will make a more in depth video about this. Reach out to other people and if you find you still need some help, then consider counselling sessions. I found them to be really useful. All the best my darling, lots of hugs 🤗

Hi Anna! Firstly just want to say youre absolutely stunning! I dont know how i came accross your videos. Probably through my constant googling 😂 I am newly diagnosed with MS 24 years old 😞 I'm soooo scared and worried that i wont be able to keep working, travel, have kids etc... How are you doing? X

Stephanie Anastasiadis Hi Stephanie, sorry to reply so late. Thank you for the compliment, that’s very sweet of you to say. MS wise I’m doing very well so try not to worry too much. I’m still working full-time and up until last week I was going to the gym. I’m a little anxious about the covid-19 situation because of the treatment I’ve had (which has left me immunocompromised) so I’m social distancing. Where in the world are you based? And btw, you can keep travelling (travel insurance will cost a little more) and you can have kids too. They will have ever so slightly higher than average chances of developing MS but there’s nothing concrete that shows it’s hereditary x

@@annamariakaf its been a year now. I have been on Tysabri for 12 months. It's helping for sure. I'm in Australia but have Greek/cypriot background. I can only manage part time work but ive had no relapses and no new lesions. Just flare-ups depending on the weather, if im sick or if I'm stressed. Hopefully there is a cure in our lifetime. I definitely want to be a mum and i have read its like 1.5% chance of passing it on to kids. I hope you are doing well now. My Instagram is Stephanastasiadis

@@stephanastasiadis6214 Hi stephanie, sorry for the late reply. Glad to hear Tysabri is working for you. Yia sou from the UK :-) I genuinely believe there will be a cure in our lifetime. It's something I'd like to work on in my own way but have no idea how exactly at this stage, nor the resources, but it's always good to dream. You're right that there is a small chance that we can pass it on to our children, and it is something I have thought about. There is so much research out there about the benefits of vitamin D supplementation and I will be making a video on this at some point. I am not a very good KZbinr! Life takes over for sure. Anyway, my point is that when you do become a mum, you can make sure your children have the best chance of beating the odds by simply giving them vitamin d every day. It's also recommended for our siblings as our siblings have around a 6% chance of developing MS as well. So if you have any brothers and sisters please pass this on x
