How to correct orange foundation, Fenty 390 🥲

I’ve taken matters into my own hands 😈 some of my absolute favorite foundations are too warm on me and I need to change that 😬. Dis haz becom tew muchhhh 😂

I had the same issue with 390 (and honestly every single foundation in my shade), so the other day I bought the LA Girl color correcting concealer in green, and it was PERFECT. The green took out some orange but kept just enough yellow, and the lightness of the concealer slightly countered the darkness of the foundation caused by the orange. It was perfect, I highly recommend trying it, and it's 1 concealer vs 2 color changing pigments, so it's quicker!

A blue color adjuster has been my best friend since I learned about it. It's especially helpful for those who have an olive undertone. Once I realized I could dot the adjuster on my face where needed it was game over! It made the process of undertone correcting my foundation more efficient and effective.

Wow! This makes sense. You have a neutral undertone. Between the blue and the white mixing medium, you can wear all foundations all time of the year 🙌🏾

Yes! I can’t nail my undertone yet because neutral foundations make me look ashy sometimes and warm foundations can come off way too orange. But i don’t even care anymore. I’ll just make my own little mix 😝

I swear the 1st 2 bottles of 390 I bought were fine, 3rd bottle was bright orange! I bought 385 which was way too light but I mixed the 2 to tone down the orange

Another KZbinr said to mix your usual concealer with corrector (I use orange corrector) and it neutralizes hyperpigmentation plus doesn’t show up after putting foundation on.

I have every color of that LA Girl because every foundation I have seems to be to this or to that. I stopped trying because… 😂 I didn’t understand the color wheel and I have a foundation that’s to yellow and I put the blue and it turned olive lol olive undertones look sooo bad on me I can make any other undertone work but olive is a no go. Anyway thanks for this I’m gonna pull out my mixers again because I have a drawer FULL of expensive foundations that don’t work for me and they were on their way to the garbage

We shouldnt have to be chemists. Though I have mixed inexpensive foundations before but I dont even feel that Fenty is good enough for me to take time to mix it. I like Nyx matte foundation I have mixed those before but they have a better shade selection where I kind of dont really need to I just assumed I needed to since it's so hard to find shades in most everything. Fenty aint doing it for us foundation wise so I'm not even trying to make it work. It's way too expensive. Let's not have them believe we can use that orange mess
