This is a great super short and effective video. I'm still puzzled to understand how that integrates in the overall workflow. At what time do you do that? Let's say you then play with overall color correction, or LUT, then skin color would be off again. Do you do that towards the end of color correction?

Hi! Glad you liked the video! It all comes down to preferens but I mostly do it at the wery start. Becous If you colorgrade you whant everything to be correct beffor you start (There for the colorcorecting part). Then in my opinion, yes mabby the skintone is changing slatly when colorgrading. But thats makes it more unifyed whit the rest of the image. Say you making a mars ceen and every thing looks red ish. Naturly you skintone would be having some red ish tone to it as well in that invorament. But ofcours you can do it the other way around. I belive there is no right or wrong here, it all boils down to preferenses. Especaly when we dealing whit colorgrading and the look your affter. But I do sheck my skin tone after I colorgrade as well and is often right where it should be. Many will agre whit me and many will disagre as well. Hope that helped some what 🙂

it's essential in colour grading, I wouldn't say filmmaking, way too broad of a term

There was no change in the skin tone color what so ever?
