I'm such a fricking idiot. I always used to do slides with only my index finger and (of course) it hurt like a motherf*. I can't believe I never even got the though of using more fricking fingers at the same time. jesus that's embarrassing

I've been playing most of my life & in the band I'm currently in have horrible arguments/fights about slides with the band leader who says "EVERY slide has an EXACT starting note, & an EXACT ending note... which should ALWAYS be played the SAME on the song. I disagree, to me it depends.. but suffice it to say it's effect & can "peter out" to no definite note .. also as with high speeds who can hear that? Not many. What's your take?

Its called transpose and yes you can tune it by changing its HZ. Normally a normal note is 440 HZ

If you have a well-built digital piano (Yamaha, Roland, Kawaii), it should be just fine. If you have a Williams, Artesia, Suzuki, or other cheap brand, then it might cause problems.

Yes, in the classical world, it’s a glissando; in rock, pop, etc., it’s generally just called a slide. Relax, dude. (And actually what he’s got there is not just any old electronic keyboard, it’s a digital piano that likely has weighted action, so that it responds very much like a piano.)
