Idk if my MMR is just high but I've never seen anyone escape through gate against her. Any time I escape it's always hatch and it's always hatch when I see others escape. They really need to drop her speed to 110 for her to be balanced. Each map has very few tiles where you can w key away from her. She is the only killer I pray I get Midwich and RPD on because there's a handful of areas in each you can abuse and not have to drop pallets. I'd be ok with her 115 if her crows couldn't put you in a dying state, but having the speed and the crows able to down you is just too much imo. I'd rather go agains a huntress with eerie any day.

I also feel that against a good artist, they can corner you in almost any tile, some setback definitely needs to be implemented in her design, shit is oppressive.

0:33 You only need to fake the direction for 1 second. The killer instinct effect lasts three seconds, yes, but that effect only triggers, if you didnt get hit to begin with. In the example you show you got hit and theres a murder around you. In this case she wont see a killer instinct and instead see the aura of the murder in white. When you start repelling the murder she'll lose the ability to see the aura after just 1 second. Killer instinct and murder aura are two different components.

I do love how the Crows give Artist the strongest mindgame potential for any Killer. Many of the counterplay tips ironically help out Artist, as they know what maneuvers to look out for and false telegraph one action to blindside the Survivor

Another thing you can do to help your fellow survivors is when she sets up a crow to damage them you walk into the crow for them and it doesn’t harm you but it disrupts her intent.

Thanks dude I repelled the first of crows I got hit with and I noticed she hit me again with crows but I didn't have any on and I took damage I also feel her walk speed is too much

No not really, people only hop in and out of lockers really quickly to rid the crows, and as the killer you’ll already know where they are most likely!

Does she have some kind of speed burst when shit hits you? I just played vs her and I was running away and she would hit me a 2nd time in under 4 seconds, but it wasn't crows it was just her hit.

As a killer main I think I will really like the artist, but through survivor pov I think she can be countered pretty well, but if you have control of the game as the killer it shouldn’t be a problem

i play survivor mostly and The Artist is a TON OF FUN to play against i dunno i just feel like i can *actually play the game* when it's her i'm not saying i get to escape or win more often but she's a killer that allows the game to flow for everyone, you know? i mean that's my experience for now she usually is not just tunneling people everywhere she's good but that doesn't make her insufferable like the Nurse is a lot of times so yeah i think overall she's a great killer and other killers should be like her in fact i don't feel like playing against any other killer right now cause it's always going back to the tunneling and unbalanced powers and all that shit...

The Artist is definitely overpowered. She is a huntress that can technically shoot three times at once, no matter where she stands. This killer shouldn't even be in the game

I actually think she is pretty balanced because her power is really difficult to learn and master!

She is definitely not more op than for example The Nurse. Yes she can shoot three times through objects, but it doesn't cause damage. And like The Nurse she's also hard to play and master. The difference is that The Nurse has been in the game almost since forever and people sort of know what to do when facing her. The Artist is still new, so of course most survivors don't know how to play around her yet and would rather call her op online, instead of adapting and learning that she's way easier to outplay than The Nurse :)

It is almost impossible to actually get multiple hits on different survivors, you would have to mind game 3 people at the same time that are potentially several meters away, when you play against decent survivors then it is difficult to injure just one of them
