No unfortunately all manufacturer coupons need to be used in store. Paper coupons or digital manufacturer coupons.

If you are doing a spend deal -Spend $100 get a $20 gift card- can you use a gift card saved to you wallet to pay and still qualify for the $20 gift card?

Thank you so much. You explained it very well and answered a lot of my questions. Target is inconsistent. The last time I went there they told me they only took 3 manufacturer coupons at a time and then I had coupons that they said they wouldn't take because they don't accept from all manufacturers!

This was amazing I'm new I just need some quick clarification there is a coupon saying if I spend 25 dollars I get a 5 dollar gift card can I do those deals at self checkout also does it remove 5 dollars from the total or is it 5 dollars towards target earning or is it a actual gift card or an online one because I do see there is a place for Target gift cards in the app, so some clarification would be nice

No it is spend 25 on beauty and get a 5 dollar gift card so I guess store promotion

@@kyro7905 yes you can do that at self checkout and they will give you a $5 gift card but techinally they charge you for it and take $5 off the value of the items part of the promo. If you do it online its a digital gift card.

I have a question regarding the gift cards. if im at self check out, would it be possible to split my transaction (1 transaction will have the 5GC other will not) and use the 5gc on my second transaction? Are they actual GC or e giftcards when at checkout?

You will get a physical gift card so yes you can definitely use it on the second transaction!

target has never granted their online price match for me :/ nor have they allowed me to use a target circle offer with a coupon 😞

As long as the circle offer is not a manufacturer coupon they should 100% let you. Their price match is online so they should definitely follow that as well. They may just not be aware of it.

One time, I bought the 3 items and the giftcard wasn't showing up (I think it was buy 3 laundry products, get a giftcard). I hadn't paid yet but I pointed it out, and they called the manager. They scanned my items, and they said the deal should have worked. Anyway, they told me that they were going to give me the giftcard (if it didn't print, and it didn't) at the end, and they did. I just wanted to mention that, in case someone has issues getting the giftcards! Thank you for your tips, very helpful! I just subscribed. I came here from Ally's channel :)

Hi Sarah. Im glad I watched your video before going to target lol! But I was wondering. If the the paper MFC is more then the mfc digital target coupon can that be stacked? Say detergent is $1 off on paper coupon but $0.50off on digital can I use those together for same item?

They don’t even accept paper coupons anymore. What’s the equivalent of using them on the app? I have a red card and get the 5% discount I THINk. Targets are closing fast in California. Maybe this BS is why.

@@HARRYHALL they do still accept paper coupons per their coupon policy but each store has the ability to say they won't take them. Some of their digital coupons are manufacturer if they say mfr, so those are the same as a paper coupon. The ones that don't have mfr are store digital coupons and can be stacked with a mfr coupon. Yes red card is 5% off.

Thank you Sarah. I do appreciate your video. Another question. I assume The “pickup in store” option means you order and pay on the app and pickup your stuff at CUSTOMER SERVICE? My store does NOT accept paper coupons and most of the employees have no idea how this other system works either. The smash and grab situation at Targets (causing them to lock up all products including shampoo etc. & close stores in 4 states) isn’t helping. Thanks again. Amazon here I come.

I’m very happy that they put in self checkout cuz you can review each item’s price and it will tell you if you qualify for the gift card promotion. Also, you can see the coupons directly applying to each item. When you are at a cashier, it’s difficult to see the monitor and prices plus the cashier is moving fast. I work at target, awesome video! One more thing, for BOGO sales, the system takes the same amount off of each item. For example, a buy 3 get 1 free sale, or a bogo half off will both adjust each item by 25%. That way if one is returned you still get the discount prorated across each item. Also if we push a coupon through by adjusting the price of the item, it won’t prompt for the gift card if that put it under threshold for a “spend” promotion. We do have the ability to issue $5-$10 gift cards at the register though for situations like this. It really amazes me how differently every store handles things, even as a team member lol

Thanks for explaining that! I've had a lot of success with having them manually give me the gift card in those situations but every once in awhile they don't understand and it becomes way more complicated than it needs to be 😆
