"Filipinos don't have strong culture" couldn't be more wrong. Imagine a girl who - wouldn't dare try filipino food - does not want to attend your family gatherings - is not interested in your culture at all - does not get your humor (cause she does not make an effort to know your culture) - shoes inside the house - does not cook at all A lot more things could be wrong. Sure you might stick with her cause you like her but in the end the disappointment would just add up til you become unhappy with the relationship. If the filipino guy/girl is serious and has no ulterior motive. It's pretty important to find someone compatible or at least someone open to their culture.
