try having them all over your face and compulsively picking even when you dony realize it. my skin was doing so well until i had this horrible pustule breakout out of NO WHERE!!!
@remington_l83097 жыл бұрын
Danielle Beckman that same thing happens to me. It'll scab up and I'll continuously pick at it and then another one will appear and the cycle goes on. My struggle is after picking it, it bleeds, and then I try to cover it up, but the blood bleeds through my makeup and then I keep stacking the makeup and then it looks SUPER cakey and then I have to take it off and start all over and it's no use. Another struggle is that when it scabs up and I try to cover it, it is still a little noticeable because my products aren't full coverage and they'll slide right off of my slippery scab or the scab will show through, and my math class turns into a beauty class because the whole time people are like," No offense, but you blend your makeup really badly" like every day and it's so annoying.
@lozzylols7 жыл бұрын
Danielle Beckman there is some compulsions isn't there, to pick, I don't even know I'm doing it most of the time, and each time it scabs over you totally regret it, and tell yourself not to do it again, but you still do!
@karynsuepohlmeier21097 жыл бұрын
Danielle Beckman that sucks! Hope you were able to clear them up.
@PaulinaAllure6 жыл бұрын
I used to compulsively pick my skin too. I still pick at times but a lot less. It is such a hard habit to break, and you wonder why you even do it in the first place because you make the skin look much worse. I hope that you find the strength to stop doing it. Mine is still a work in progress but what definitely has helped me, is letting someone know you do it and let them help you. Best of luck!

@@wolfys_random your mind might be really overexaggerating it but if thats not the case when a popped pimple happens I usually put colgate toothpaste on it to overkill it and dry out the root of the pimple then place a small band aid on that they sell at CVS or Walgreens maybe try that and in a day you will see a difference maybe and keep washing your face with water and soap I use Dr Squatch soap but anything to clean your face helps you know?
@2_5724 жыл бұрын
@@wolfys_random the band aid is there so you won't continuously pick at it and change your pillow cases every 2 days and face towels so germs won't get a chance to get on your face and have sex on your face and make houses on your skin peace!

Quite tip: I know this might sound stupid but putting baby butt cream on a scab help it heel 100% faster. It also can be used for Aton of other things like popped calluses, rashes, etc. And if your really pal it can even be used to cover zits and scabs up while helping it heel at the same time.

Your teeth are gorgeous!!!!!!! Don't listen to the haters! You can wear makeup on scabs ladies, it's what you wear and how you wear it. Personally I find the best thing for pimples and scabs is a layer of a gel-never Neosporin or anything that will trap the germs and make it worse. I like gels like silversol and scarzone burngel, it's stronger than Neosporin and has benzalkonium as an antiseptic, tea tree, aloe and a bunch of other really great healing properties that almost seal the scab and actually dry down and keep it from weeping(mine tend to do that-gross I know), help it heal quicker, and protect it from the outside world better than any gross petroleum based Neosporin germ factory you could put on it. After I put a very thin layer of gel on I let that dry and before my other makeup I put a blemish sulfur powder on top of the scab-the bare minerals one or the elf one, and then do my regular routine, usually putting a acne concealer over the spot and the same UD concealer if needed, sometimes just the burn gel a few dabs of sulfur blemish powder is all I need. But if you use the right products and are very careful washing them off with ACV and sleep with it covered with gel and a bandage at night it'll heal very quickly, plus spf at all times to prevent scaring.

Hey! My skin looks like yours! Irrelevant, but it makes me happy because I don't see a lot of people with the same exact skin type. I can't pull off that true match makeup though, as it actually made my skin very dry/flakey/patchy looking (and I have oily skin-NO MATTER WHAT I DID it came out the same). I just tried aveeno tinted moisturizer and it actually does a good job looking natural but doesn't cover well. Either way, this video was helpful. Thank you. lol

I always pick at my spots, I use manuka doctor skin repair cream on it and it heals in literally a night with it. I get a blob of it and put it on the scab and don’t rub it in but just leave it on top, of it dries out I put another layer on and by the morning the scab will literally rub off in a hot shower. I don’t know what’s in it but it heals scabs from picking spots in a day! If it’s really bad and deep then it will take 2 days max, but it’s amazing at healing anything like that. I wouldn’t use it all over my face for acne prone skin as it breaks me out but for healing scabs it’s like a miracle product ❤️

I don’t know why but I followed this video and watched many more but every single time I get a breakout and I have to pop it because of the whitehead it doesn’t cover!! I try Vaseline to put a think layer on and apply t and a plaster on straight before bed but it doesn’t really work for me as the scab still comes out so there’s like red on the middle of my face (the scab) while the rest is covered. I recommend the plaster on face technique as it may work for you but I feel trying to cover it with makeup doesn’t help to the extent and potential it could do for others. Hope this helped! ( any other tips please let me know, I’m a teen who struggles abit with pimples from teenage hood and would take on any advice others could give, have a wonderful day!! x

I'm sorry but this was very unhelpful! Wearing makeup is the WORSE thing you could possibly put on that!!! A scab is dry and cracked looking so adding makeup makes it more dried out and cracked which is all I notice on your face... You need to add moisture back to the scab so it falls off by itself... I had a huge scab from a burn on my neck and I was in a hot shower letting soap and water run on it and it fell right off by itself it'll be a little red but that's easier to cover than a cracked scab! Moisturizer it then add some kind of antibiotic ointment and if u absolutely need to cover it then put a little concealer ABSOLUTELY NO POWDER you do not want to add anything to it that will cause it to be more dry!! You pretty much want to do the complete opposite of this video. I'm not trying to be mean I'm just trying to help! I work at a dermatologists office so I have a lot of knowledge on skincare and I specialize in esthetics
@PaulinaAllure9 жыл бұрын
Sorry you feel that way but this is just what works for me. I share my thoughts and tips on things that have worked for me in the past, especially because I used to have very bad acne growing up. Putting on makeup actually helps me dry it out throughout the day to help the scab fall off while at night i moisturize it. I've been to dermatologists too and their advice has burned my skin so I do what works for me and keep it natural with skincare.
@nataleen26238 жыл бұрын
+Paulina_Allure I think you did a great job covering that up, everyone wants to go out feeling confident and you did what works best for you. I'm good at leaving my zits alone unless they come to a whitehead and then I pop them because they feel so uncomfortable and if you cover them with makeup, they will pop on their own anyways lol. Always so hard to cover up the scabs though but I'd rather they be covered and a little noticeable than a lot.
@rosegoldluxx16458 жыл бұрын
I agree that's what you should do. That's the healthy way to treat an open zit, but unless you're staying in your house alone for 1-3 days that's probably not going to happen. Thank you for the tips! I had 2 zits this morning and your video helped me make them mostly disappear. :) :) :)

I'm sorry hun but if I covered the one I have now or anytime IT WOULD NOT HELP. This is not what to do and if you need to cover your Pimples or scabs etc. Sometimes it's okay to feel embarrassed and just accept that your healing. Once she takes her Cake of Makeup from the dollar store I wonder what happens. There is stuff for this stuff to heal, but drying it out with makeup is why your complexion is bad.
