WOW 🤩! Your techniques & demonstrating is spot on👌! As many KZbin videos I came across yours is absolutely the best. At a really good price ($599 no tax, free shipping) I purchased the Janome 2000CPX. Not a Janome fan but do love the 2000CPX. That said, your video was the only one on KZbin explaining the proper settings for leaving the looper thread inside the machine after threading. And, your the only one explaining where to place the needle threads after threading. Can’t thank you enough for sharing your talents and keeping this video on KZbin -Thank you. I subscribed 😎

I have this exact machine. I really love it. It does a beautiful job on super stretchy fabrics like swimwear & aerobic wear. Amazingly the seams are super stretchy with using regular polyester/cotton thread. It also has differential feed adjustments for any type of knit fabrics. So far has worked great on anything I have tried.

I love how you explain where the top threads should be before you commence sewing AND where your looper thread should be after you thread and before you start sewing. Thank you.

Your video is one of the best ever. I confess I bought this machine a year ago and I'm still fighting it - and I sew for a living so it is disappointing. I'd love to see a tutorial on gathering and elastic binding as you are a great instructor. I keep telling myself I will take time to learn properly, but I am "sew" busy I find that I just work around it. You've given me inspiration to get back to it.

Thank you so much for this most informative video. I have just watched one by Janome and the hemming was actually never mentioned. All your tips have motivated me now and given me the confidence to make some accurate hems. Before this I was stumbling around as if blindfolded and wondered how to get the stitching actually on the hem - something that cannot be actually seen when sewing. Really grateful.

Linda at Janome of Canada demonstrated this useful method of locking the ending stitches back in 2009 on the 1000 CP. When these machines were first introduced to the home sewing market, they came with a CD of techniques and demos on how to use all the optional accessories. I believe the content on that CD is now available on KZbin - definitely worth watching!

This video is fantastic! I, too, felt better about having a separate cover stitch machine from my serger. I recently bought the Janome but did NOT love it until your video. Now that I know a better and more efficient way to end the stitches, I am using it constantly! I still need to tweak things here and there, like hand rolling the wheel to go through 4 thicker layers. But all in all, what a great addition to my sewing room.

Thank you for this great tutorial. Your explanations are great and detailed, you made it easy to learn and showing little tricks or techniques that are so helpful. I do love that painters tape! Like that little "dental type tool to pull the threads. I have been thinking of buying a coverstitch machine, after watching this video, I feel that it would be nice to have one. I would use it a lot, because a serger can't give me that nice finish and using the twin needles on sewing machine is OK, but just not as nice.
