Man I finally upgraded my bane build from tabula to a six link and maxed my res I feel soon much more tanky and actually enjoy playing it now I was getting one shot b4 I also bought a decent iolite ring and the exact same large cluster your using for 80 chaos. I find all of your videos very in depth and fascinating, but as a beginner it's very hard to follow along. I watched quite a few of your currency making videos but I just can't make it work. Can you do some step by step guide? Or do you have some play along videos where you record the whole progress of you actually going from 100 chaos to 50 exalts? I cannont imagine getting the currency to craft even the low budget option in your guide....

Wanted to give Bane Occultist a try, talked to you a bit on a reddit post yesterday. There are literally no Staffs with Chaos Skill Gems or All Spell gems fractures on the market and 1/3 Prefix Fracture is 30 Ex, which I failed one already. This hurts. :D

Damn that really is rough. With a fracture costing that much I would probably just throw lots of fossils at a base until I hit good prefixes. Also look for fractured spell damage, chaos dot, regular dot multi. Really anything that you care about will eliminate some of the crafting hassle. Good luck!

Just as a side comment, I found a +2 chaos gems, 36% chaos multi( and some other basic stats) staff in a ritual cache just today. Crafted spell dmg on it and I can use it till i craft another. So the budget tier ones can be found also.

So I'm trying to do the mid budget craft right now. I'm spamming metallic/corroded/shuddering on my fractured base right now. There is a problem though. It ALWAYS gives me 3 suffixes. So how am I supposed to craft prefixes can't be changed when I get the +2 all skill gems? Do I just yolo annul and hope to hit a suffix, or do I yolo and Aisling and hope she removes a suffix and gives me a spell damage prefix? I'm new to crafting so kind of confused at this step.

Re the general crafting, in the gloves you write this as the the post essence of Delirium: "3) Suffixes cannot be changed -> reforge Chaos more likely" But unless I'm confused, there are zero Chaos prefixes for hunter gloves on Craft of Exile. Is that wrong? Maybe should be defences more likely?

It allows an open suffix to be filled. Only locks existing ones.

Small question: does the battery staff have the same or worse probabilities for these rolls (esp when considering low budget lol)? Reason is, Enlighten is ridiculously expensive, and I scored a 6L battery base (implicit for this rather than block attack damage is to use energy shield instead of mana for socketed skills)... So I'm thinking if I put ED in the battery then I can afford to run everything without enlighten temporarily... just not sure if that staff makes it untenable to still aim for this +3+2 situation... as far as I can tell the probabilities are the same. Does that sound right?

Battery staff is ok but I'd be really hesitant to use it over a regular base due to losing the block. It's not absolutely critical to the build but it helps a ton for our defenses. If it's all you have though go for it! Just make sure it's level 77-80

just to give some perspective to people who watch this video and think "oh i can just spend 6x and hit +2/+2 EASY" im doing aberrant/corroded/metallic/shuddering and so far ive spent around 14ex and the best ive hit was +1/+2 i could have just bought a decent +2/+2 staff, but at this point im too pissed to stop crafting. lets see if i manage to get a +2/+3 this season. so yeah. its not as easy as this video suggests

Guys, CHECK TYPE OF THE STAFF (do not use War staff, check 8:00 in this video) before crafting/ I've tried to craft 2+2 "budget" staff and spent about 4 ex and a lot of time before I got info for "semi-rich" guys from that part of video after budget variant, where the author said that war staves are not for this craft (OMG). %)

Just want to say that you should probably mention that the staff itself should NOT be a warstaff base, they cant roll "all gems" only socketed gems. So saying get any staff with "chance to block attack damage" might trip a few people up. Otherwise amazing guide. Big thumbs up.

Have really enjoyed playing this char this league. Totally destroyed everything and i was very lucky to get a +3 chaos with multiplyer from one of those expedtion vendors. As i've hit 94 and just cant hit that 95 final barrier i thought, well made 20 exalts this league so go and see if i can craft a better staff. I got a lvl 85 primodrial staff and alt spammed about 400 alts and got a '+1 to level of all spell skill gems and +3 to level of all chaos spell skill gems' I'm really unsure on what to do next and how to add more prefixes or suffixes. Been playing donkeys years but havent a clue what im doing still. Implicit: 18% to chance to block Prefix: +39 to intelligence Prefix: +3 to all chaos spell skill gems Suffix: +1 to level of all spell skill gems

All spell is a prefix. Attributes are suffixes. I'd probably do prefixes can't be changed and do an Aisling slam. Keep doing that until you unveil chaos damage prefix. Then prefixes can't he changed reforge chaos until chaos dot multi.

Hi, so recently I beastcrafted Aspect of the Spider in my +1/+1 amulet as you advice in your gear crafting but I can't seem to fit it with all the auras (Vitality, Grace, Discipline, Malevolence) what should I remove in place of the Aspect?

If you use spider you really want elevated mana reservation on your helmet and a level 4 enlighten. It is the end game final setup bit it is a leap forward in investment.

It's 0.012% (1 / 8564) to get +3chaos and +1-3 spells (even T2) in same try with reforge+ chaos. With caster reforge+ its even worse. I'm not saying its impossible but if I were you, I wouldn't mention this method.

Why do you need to buy up to level 80, if the same modifiers are there up to 80, but just a lower level? More modifiers will not be added, there will be the same number.

Higher than 80 adds extra mods which makes it harder to roll.

@@AchieveVibes No. More mods on the item makes it much harder to hit the mods that you're aiming for. It adds way more mods to the pool and crafting becomes significantly more expensive. When crafting you want to get the lower item level possible that gets all of the mods that you're aiming for.

Depending on your level of investment you may get more out of a cane due to your low chaos dot multi.

It is incredibly rare. The best bet is to just farm up a few exalts and buy fractures on TFT.

I currently have a 5-link ezomyte staff, is it worth it to buy a cheap 6-link base, use alt orbs to get +3 level of chaos gems (if this is even possible) and then craft spell dmg? I got to lvl 76 mobs in delve and never saw a resonator. Also 5 ex is almost my entire currency lol

I'm not the man himself - but here are my thoughts. 5L cane of unravelling is fine at your level... I literally just upgraded mine to 6L and I'm level 90 considering gunning for Sirus next (that's the reason I want a 6L now). And don't feel bad about 5ex currency - if you're just at level 76 mobs 5ex is a pretty solid earning - good job! I'm not sure what the stats would be on using alts to aim for +3 chaos gems, but my impression is probably very very low probability. If you're going to start that route you'd be better using harvest or consider investing your ex into fossils (but resonators are suddenly more expensive rn than in this dude's video I think, and keep in mind the calculations are AVRGs, so there's no guarantee you'll get the rolls even with that investment). Then again, a 6L cane might cost you a lot less than the fossils necessary for crafting and would be a great boost until you feel like upgrading again later.

Right now I'm very impressed by this build as I just got my 12th watchstone while my gems sit at lvl 19 with no quality and my gear is worth around 80 chaos at most (still using a 5link armor as well). Considering how much damage I can still get by improving my gems this guide seems super beginner friendly. Unfortunately leveling the gems to 20 does take quite some time ^^

It's all probabilities. The reason I show what I do in this video is because these options weight it the most in your favor. Most Everything is theoretically craft able with a chaos orb but the probabilities are low. If a fractured base is suggested that's usually because it's both the easiest and cheapest way to get the mods you're looking for.
