The image spins like it is orbiting and object. My solution was to place the anchor point to half the number of duplicate layers I have. When I try to move the anchor point to the middle of the image to make it spin on the 0 degree Y axis, there's a blip when the image spins at 90 and -90 degrees. What is that blip? What is causing that? When the anchor point is moved to the front/back of the image, I do not see the blip. Any idea on how to make the image spin on the 0 degree y axis without the blip?

I've noticed that after I duplicate more than 15 layers of my logo it creates a black background that isn't transparent. I've toggled the transparency and selected active camera. Any answers why after 15 layers?

Dont know if you still have this problem. I fixed it by changing the 3D renderer to Classic 3D instead of Cinema 4D. That renderer seems to be very picky on certain setups

Thank you so much! this was super helpful. Only thing is that there is a slight glitch when the object/logo turns, you can see it between second 9 and 10 at the top of the apple leaf. It's fine with a black background but with any other colour background this is quite visible, any idea on how to get rid of this glitch? thank you!

Adding spotlight can fix this issue.

Take 3D off all the clips and add it one by one after your done with each clip if that makes sense

Good tutorial, got it in the end, but overlaying the key commands you are saying on the video would help tons. Your english is great, but is still hard to understand, took me a few failed guesses: your "alt" and "r" sound the same to me. Great video otherwise.

FOR EVERYONE GETTING A GLITCH DURING YOUR 90 DEGREE ROTATION: First, Fattu, this was an amazing tutorial. Next, follow these steps (S/O @Games James in the comment section for this answer): Replace all the center layers (layers in between the first and last .png file) to be one color (this will be whatever the outer most color is and I used the change to color effect on my .png to do this). This will fix the issue of the glitch, which is AE reading all of the overlayed colors of your .png file in succession.

Pala Lor Heyy im probably too late but try this for your second problem, add a null layer(turn on the 3d thing for it), select the layers then parent them to that null layer, Then when you rotate hit 'r', and rotate it however you want. if im not too late, I hope this helps

Somewhere at 3:10 he started duplicating everything to make it look 3D because there were so many layers, when he was done duplicating he changed his view and u saw that it worked however the problem with us two is that it stays flat and the layers just stay at the exact same spot as the original layer

I am doing this on a rectangular card for some thickness, the card edges are gold metallic fx and put in about 20 layers. everything was fine till I got these weird lines in the back and front of the card when it rotates, it kinda looks like bounding box lines, how do I fix this? it's very much visible in render.
