Do you do private lessons? Also do you have a video on eqing and getting to -6db of head room for mastering

I don’t at the moment but I may in the future when I do this full time. I don’t have a video on it yet but I would suggest putting a utility on the master channel and bringing down the gain until your master channel reaches a crest factor (average) of -6db. I would also add a reference track and use a free plug in called Span to check your low end (eq to somewhat match reference track) and compare to another professionally mixed song you’re referencing in the same genre. I would also say a solid mix is more important than a master.
