I made my own professional email all for free, from domain,web hosting,wordpress,ssl cert,email forwarder up to my own prof. email. It took me a day to know the connectivity of these stuffs. It was hard having no IT background 😅

I must admit that I struggled to authenticate my details because I followed your video step by step without making changes to the servers, but then I realised that my host is not HostGator so I use the email configuration settings my host sent to me for incoming and outgoing servers and it worked! What if you own a business and need multiple business? Ex: sales@...com, info@..., shipping@...com, tech@...com, etc. Do you have a tutorial on that or can recommend one? If you own a business you want to know what's going on in every department, but I doubt you'd want your sales guy or shipping guy looking into your personal Gmail account in order to find an email that's specific towards them.

If you are receiving an error, I would hop onto HostGator Support. They're really good about responding quickly and fixing things like this. If its giving you an error, then it's most likely an issue that HostGator needs to fix on their end.

Hey maybe your domain was new, also make sure your domain is pointing to your hosting were ever you got your domain register, example : input in domain register site for that domain host name 1 and 2

Have you checked what your hosting pop address is? When he says the pop address must be mail.websitename, that is only valid for hostgator. He should have made it clear that it will be different for other hosting providers.
