I just waned to say thank you for this tutorial. I am making a custom burial urn for my sisters Spouse that used to live in Greece, and wanted to know if I could do a boarder around the urn inscription that was a Greek Key. I followed your video here and it worked perfectly! It took me a while and I drilled down further to figure how to vary the size of this too and create other brushes that are 90, 75 and 50 percent to make it just right. Thanks again for your how to video. It really made my (and my sisters) year so far. :) Cheers.

Awesome Video I am having trouble extending the lines, I am still new to Illustrator. When I select the line the whole thing moves and does not extend what am I doing wrong?

use the "white selector" (A key shortcut)

When you select the corner piece, how do you keep it from selecting the entire line that you extended from the other piece? I am fairly new to Illustrator so idk if I am just doing something dumb???

Hi, you can only apply gradients only to stroke brushes and not these repeated patterns unfortunately.

when you put you corner on you pattern, press "ALT " to mask the pattern and the corner,
