I’d love to buy your “Sophie” template, and don’t know where to start. Will I be able to change my current Squarespace 7.0 version template to this one and is it 7.1? I wanted to know if there’s an easy way to donor without losing all my blogs, Seo, etc

Plans on Squarespace are per-website. So you need a plan for your main website on Squarespace. For the templates, you can use the method mentioned in the video!

In my template shop I made a duplicate after my first template expired, but the images didn't copy over. Any suggestions?

You'll have to manually upload any images you want to use in your template! Unfortunately if you use stock images through the Asset Library Unsplash integration, these won't copy over.

Hey Erica, I had a quick question. Every time I duplicate my website I lose social media icons as well (they disappear and wont be visible until I add the links). Is that a normal behaviour everytime we copy the website?

Yes that's normal behaviour! The social links block will still be there when you click edit into the page, and when you add the Social Links in settings it will repopulate the social links block with the correct links and retain the settings you had.

Honestly among all the platforms, SS has the weirdest way of selling templates and you even need to find hacks to do it in an unnatural manner. It's like the early days of CSS where you need to find lots of hacks and workarounds to make things work.

Do you mean to become a Circle member? You can become a website seller/designer regardless, but being in the Circle will help with the extra 6 month trial. I recommend either getting friends to add you to live sites just while you apply, OR paying for 3 websites for 1 month and applying. You can remove them after you are accepted into Circle.
