I’ll be looking up your video on how to make them as ornaments. Do you think I should bake them to sanitize them first? A dozen for naught! How lucky am I?

Hello my friend! I can't wait for you to see the drum, OMG it's turning out so pretty. I love that you're going to get some wood rounds, how cool. You are super lucky!!! I think I'd wipe them off with a wet rag and then maybe bake them for just a little bit, but don't set your house on fire! You'll have to send me pictures of what you make. I'd love to see. 🤗😘

@@masoncreationsetc lol 😂, I’d would be just like me and my luck to start a small fire! I already burnt the orange slices I wanted to dry and use for decoration!! I dried them in my toaster oven on 200 for three hours and they burnt! Damn!

What can you use in place of gesso?

Hi Nicole Marie, Well gesso is it's own thing. There really isn't a replacement. But you could just put a thick layer of chalk paint as a base, that should do just fine. Chalk paint is actually similar to gesso. Thanks so much for watching my friend 😊💖
