From Chaplin Connecticut. I made a bauble using tips from your videos of a chicken coop. My daughter has chickens so I decoupage a chicken coop and chickens and added a sunflower and wheat sprigs from Clay molds and also a nest with eggs in it on the back. She absolutely loved it! Thank you so much for your tutorials.

Thank you - I learned something with this video. Foil is not so messy as gold leaf and I think I like the effect more. I've never used foil before, but surely going to. As for your "question" = I'm a tea drinker. Coffee smells so good, but it make me feel not good. So I stick to my Earl Grey tea.
@masoncreationsetcКүн бұрын
Hi Martie, Oh yes, the foil is no nearly as messy. It's a very beautiful look. Enjoy playing with it. You can get foil in some gorgeous metallic colors. You know, funny I like the smell of coffee too, but cannot drink it at all. I'm a tea drinker from way back! Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to send me a message 😊💖

Hi i love your work and algo i have a question if I don't have the clear varnish to protector the crackle on a glass plates can I use the deco art varnish?
@masoncreationsetc2 күн бұрын
Hi Petra, I'm so happy you enjoyed this video and love my work. Please don't use Decoart varnish it's water based and will ruin your fineline crackle finish. It will turn it gooey and sticky and of course lose the fineline cracking. Any varnish that you can clean off your brush with water you won't be able to use. You can only use a solvent based varnish. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to send me a message 😊💖

sooo, how do you keep the pieces from warping - like the ballerina...? sit something on top? have you tried or used milliput clay? just wondering how they compare.
@masoncreationsetc4 күн бұрын
Hi Nita, In order to keep things from warping, you need to glue them on your project while the clay is still wet. I've never tried milliput clay. I found Das and love it, so I stick with that one. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to send me a message 😊💖

Beautiful!!! I don't know if you have mentioned this before - can pigments be kneaded into the air-dry clay instead of painting them after they dry?
@masoncreationsetc4 күн бұрын
Hi Barbbette, You can add paint to the clay, but it's really messy and the color isn't vibrant at all. It's very muted. Which in some cases could be really pretty. Maybe I should do some sort of a project doing that. You just gave me an idea you little muse! Merry Christmas my friend and thanks for always watching ❄🎅🎄😊💖
@barbbette61593 күн бұрын
@@masoncreationsetc I thought paint would be messy too but I have a lot of old eyeshadows & blushes that are really pigmented & some are really glittery. I hate to throw them out, so I had wondered if I could use them or even pigment powder, which might be less messy than paint. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas there in "Lost Wages" 😉and many blessing throughout the New Year. 🙏💕
@masoncreationsetc3 күн бұрын
You could use those old eyeshadows and blushes in the same manner that I use the wax rubs. Use them to highlight all your embellishments. That would be absolutely beautiful. You have a wonderful Christmas too 💖❄🎅🎄

I love this I thought it would be adorable for a picture in a baby’s nursery with there color scheme like pink or blue or whatever they choose Donna one more thing I am having a hard time to get my ornaments to crackle I have thrown out three already when you have time could you please give me any suggestions what I might be doing wrong I would really appreciate it Thank you Shirley
@masoncreationsetc4 күн бұрын
Hi Shirley! Thank you and I'm happy you enjoyed this video! Let me see if I can help you with the crackle. Tell me exactly what brand and type of crackle medium you used. Also tell me the process on how you applied it. There are so many different kinds of crackle and they all are applied differently. All crackle mediums create a chemical reaction with paint or lacquer depending on how you apply it. I'm going to leave you my email address so you can send me pictures if you want to. Sometimes it's easier to figure it out if I can see pictures of what happened along with pictures of the product. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to send me a message 😊💖 📧 My email: [email protected]
