How to use Google Slides
Whether you're a student gearing up for a class project, or a professional navigating the boardroom - you're in the right place. Today, we're diving into the world of dynamic, engaging presentations using the powerhouse that is Google Slides.
Follow the steps as shown in this video, and soon you'll be wowing your audience with slides that shine.
1. Open the Google Chrome browser.
2. Click on the Google Apps icon at the top right.
3. Scroll the apps list and click on the Slides.
4. Sign in with your email and password on Google.
5. Click on the Blank slide.
6. In the untitled presentation, click on the Theme menu at the top.
7. Scroll down the themes list, and click on a theme to select it.
8. Add your presentation titles and subtitles on the first slide.
9. Let’s add one more new slide to this presentation.
10. Click on the plus icon at the top left. This will add a blank new slide.
11. You can add your text content slide.
12. I have added one more slide to add an image.
13. Let’s give a title to this image slide, and going to delete this text box as I will add an image here.
14. Click on the Insert menu at the top and then select Image from the drop-down list.
15. Click on the Upload from computer option from the sub-menu list.
16. Select an image from your computer, and click on the Open button.
17. You can do some text formatting, like select text color, bold, etc.
18. Let’s animate the content, I going to right-click on this image.
19. Click on the Animate option from the list.
20. Select the animation style from the drop-down list, and action when you want to play this animation.
21. Click on the Play button to preview it.
22. Once your presentation is ready, then click on the Share button at the top right.
23. Change the access permission, and click on the Copy link button.
24. You can also select a person to share your presentation and can give different types of access rights to a person.
25. Click on the Send button to share the presentation.
