using youtube ads for retargeting has to be the goldmine that no one mentions... I also try to focus on google and youtube more than other channels. But in a strange manner I had some good results using Reddit ads, which nobody seems to give credit :) Great video, sales funnel are definitely a fascinating subject :)

It's been so long since I was looking for a resource like your channel Jason. Loved how detailed you explained this sales funnel model, and I want to thank you for that. Now, I have a question... I've been doing content marketing for a couple of years now, and yes, I've gotten some sales, but it's not enough for me to support myself from my business alone, so my question is... How better would you say paid ads work compared to content marketing? in other words, how fast can your email list grow using paid ads compared to content marketing? I'm asking that question because I've never tried ads, I don't know how to do it either, but I'm willing to invest some time on that if it's worth my time, and content marketing fills my email list super slowly.

That's a tough one. Based upon your courses and niche, I would think that content marketing would be the better route to take. Running paid ads to people who've seen your KZbin content already I think would be the best place to start. Since your doing KZbin, I'd recommend doing a remarketing campaign and then following the re-upload unlisted approach with some of your better content videos (as in the ones that have brought in sales before). Quick question Jason, what if you already have a list of emails let’s say you collected business cards from Idk Starbucks, and you want to cold email those people and your lead magnet is a discovery Quiz, using the right headline to get them to open, reader takes the quiz get their results by entering their email or best email again is it cool to then begin a nurture sequence the next day? With the goal being offering a service in the next 5-7 days.. we want the quiz to really be the key to segmentation so we can add the right value in the nurturing sequence instead of fishing if that makes sense.

This is a fine line. So if you want to send ONE cold email to those people as a initial broadcast you can probably do that. HOWEVER - You can't send an automated sequence until they enter their email from the quiz. Receiving a business card isn't enough to have permission to send automated emails like that. In short yes, your plan sounds good to go. To be really safe, I would recommend sending that initial email through your business email and not a autoresponder software. Send 5-7 per day; not all at once

you metion google paid ads over pinterest...does interest have paid adds...I though it was mainly organic..

Pinterest does have paid ads and they are really, really cheap! It's been a pretty big hit or miss for us with clients so I tend not to recommend starting there... If your already doing well organically then it would make sense to transition into playing with ads because understanding organic content performance is key to crafting compelling ads for that platform.
