What time to be alive, Ryan Kingslien using Blender

Absolutely. Blender is catching up exponentially. It has become an incredible app and I personally love that I can video edit in it as well. It's an app that can do almost anything. Total bonus that Ryan is including it in his Vertex. A tutorial pipeline with ZB, MD, SP, Quix, blender and final UE45 would be sweet. Ryan is the guy to make this happen :) In fact .... out of all the tutorials I've done.... maybe he has LOL.

Render samples probably you just need to set around 256-512 if you use denoiser, better use denoiser from render pass and use denoise node in blender compositor instead using denoise Render NLM which sometime causing some blotchy look.. 🙂

Yo! Enable the Node-Wrangler addon, y'all. Ctrl+t/Cmd+t while selecting an image texture or environment texter will auto-generate vector mapping and texture coordinate nodes already connected up to the selected node. All you older Blender users know this. This is the way.

You know, that sounds more like the dark side... :P i kinda loathe the reliance on keyboard shortcut as an approach... As a dyslexic I find "hearing" and remembering the shortcut is a huge pain in the butt and I've seen so much of that in blender tutorials that later suffer when the keyboard shortcut changes... and newbies like myself are left digging for more. When I teach ZBrush, I never alter my UI so it's exactly like beginners and easier to translate. This is the way. :D
@Stephen-T-Clark3 жыл бұрын
Haha, maybe it is the dark side. There is value in keeping things vanilla for beginners for sure, but maybe it will help somebody save some time. I am looking forward to more Vertex school stuff, especially as it pertains to Blender.
@evangintsiak47293 жыл бұрын
@@RyanKingslienVertexSchool Agree, I mean, I like shortcuts and use them a lot, but prefer building everything from scratch. I think it's better when learning new stuff. It makes you to try and understand how something is built. When you are comfortable with that, then start using shortcuts :)
