Hi Sophia, Mike's starting aspect ratio was 16:9. To make it 9:9, or in other words 1:1, he had to remove 7 points from the 16. 7 divided by 16 gives you 0.4375, which is the amount you need to remove. So divide 0.4375 by 2, as you are removing an equal amount from 2 sides, gives you 0.2187. As a percentage, thats 21.87%. Hope that helps!

ok, so Top and Bottom 0% and left and right is 34.20% May be off a pixel or so. I just used a cellphone video as my template to get those settings.

@@swany65 no I didn’t. In fact I tried creating my own mask and overlaying it. Then I guessed the mask measurements until it matched the mask I created which Was 34.25%. But I just watched my cut on my phone and it isn’t right.
