After trying several different ways of doing the V-neck from other videos, this second explanation is the best, I think. I really would recommend, if you're looking to do another video on this technique, to just show more step-by-step ways of doing the second way, including which way the bias needs to go (where are the raw edges, etc.) and whether a smaller size of binding can be used. Great tutorial! Thank You!

Wish I had seen this yesterday before trying to sew a "v" neckline using French Terry. Have unpicked it now and like both ways you have shown but for now will do the cross over "V" and retry with this method. Thank you so much for this tutorial!

Oh wow, I actually like the 2nd one because it makes more sense to me. If anyone is bothered by the overlap in the 2nd one, you can just hand sew it down and make it invisible and then you won't have the overlap being obvious at all.

I love your videos, I wonder how you finish the shoulders and back band after perfecting the V at the front. Are the shoulder seams sewn together beforehand?

Hi! In general shoulders seam are sewn beforehand. But sometimes, just one shoulder is sewn and then the band is finished by sewing the opened shoulder. I hope this helps ❤
