There are local versions of suno, The tech used by Elvin Labs that allow you to train voices in by giving it sound bits from other sound clips and then you can train a speaker, all the tech is open source.

Trust me it’s definitely coming, if anything just a locked feature until the next ue5 update. Let’s not forget we have AI singing as the Beatles,2pac and pretty much everybody else on KZbin nowadays, I guess the underlying issue is if it’s YOUR voice implemented from start to end of your game it’ll be tricky to tax you without some grey area compared to examples stated above where the parent entity can snatch the idea entirely due to copyright/ownership. Hence why they have default voice packs and such to be included when you download presets.

@@mudnocchio yea, I just saw it a few days ago. It still has a ways to go in making it sound 100% human (there were points it sounded a tad fake) but I reckon within a year or so it'll be flawless. Can't wait since I need that for my projects.

Does this work on any actors with using permission? (I do know that this did get happened with Erica Linebeck and Grey Delise since the two AI Artists did get into trouble without permission.)

This company ethically works with voice actors to get there voices , I think they even get a cut when there voice is used or something

Isn't this risky with how AI stuff is being treated? Like how Steam won't allow you to sell any games with any AI stuff in it? I realise the Steam policy is "copy-right infringement AI" but still :/

This is different than AI being used for art. Replica Studios have actors whom have supplied their voices. The AI in Replica just helps with accents, speech patterns, emotion and pronunciation. Things that cant be trademarked. What you don't want is effects, pitch and speed sounding like Darth Vader or Roger Rabbit for example. Those are post process effects which most people would steer clear of during editing. I am not sure what Steams policy is on the Replica Studios and like services.

Tried replica AI for my indie horror project and it still needs work tho on the voices. Also, for the subtitles to work do you need to have the plugin? Because for my AI recordings it didn't have subtitles and it would be way nicer if it had for my project.
