Thank you. Easier to learn with your tutorial. Others I have seen just use black with white dots. Your method of blending brings it all together for me.

why thank you Ann! If only I grew them in my backyard! Yup, its not just for alcohol ink! (good point!) hugs D
@wokegirl2 жыл бұрын
Hi, just found your channel. I think I notice you put alcohol inks in a water color tray that you allow to sit out and use when you are ready by just adding a bit of alcohol, thus allowing the inks to gum up a bit and give a different texture to the ink? I haven't seen anyone else do this, way cool.
@DebbieDidIt2 жыл бұрын
You got it! With only a teeny bit of alcohol it gives you the control! ..and I'm all about control (ask my bf! haha) Thanks for subscribing! I hope you find some other good info here as well. ps. I will be going live real soon to create an alcohol ink painting so keep your eyes peeled! :)

Is your blower cold air or hot? Does it matter?
@DebbieDidIt4 жыл бұрын
well yes..it does make a difference based on your substrate. With yupo, I like to use cool air so as not to warp it. I used a Revlon brush hair dryer (the kind with hairbrush extensions)..it was like $20. 😁 hope that helps!

im lost... whats in your palette?
@DebbieDidIt4 жыл бұрын
Hi Kimberly..sorry for any confusion. My palette has the ink colors that I show you in the very beginning of the video. Feel free to choose your own colors..all I say is that you have your main color and a lighter and darker version...to make 3 colors total. It's all in the shading :) I am here if you have any questions. Thank you for watching :)

Thanks so much! I loved the video, just couldn't figure out what you were using, I thought maybe it was acrylic. Thanks for straightening me out. I'm a little dense sometimes!
