I loved this stunning arrangement. You are an excellent teacher. There are other youtube floral teachers but for example they may not get into the proper preparation of the flowers. Thank you for your knowledge that you share with us.

Thank you, I'm grateful for you comments. I like to teach properly which can make the videos to long for some people. But I find it difficult to miss out steps that are important.

Hi Sharon! Love your videos and am learning so much. I wanted to suggest a series on how to design with supermarket roses in a variety of ways. Roses are the most common flower sold in my supermarket and it would be wonderful to see how many different designs I could make using them with only a minimal amount of complimentary greenery or add’l flowers. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.

Great suggestion! Sounds like a plan. There is a 5 lesson course on the website that is designated to Supermarket flowers. Lots of info and 5 different arrangements for you to learn.

Wonderful arrangement Sharon, love the colour, very similar to my dress when I got married. What would be an alternative to the leather leaf, I have the ladder fern and the asparagus fern in the garden but not sure these would work. I have a plant called false bamboo, just thinking about it that might work. Leaf manipulation is always interesting, always something new.Thank you .
@sharondower7 ай бұрын
I'm not sure what false bamboo looks like, but anything that is structured and strong rather than floppy and floaty would be good.

Could one use carnations as well for this design? Thanks!
@sharondower4 ай бұрын
Yes you can! Its much better to use one colour and one flower type and it look more impressive with a single flower not a spray flower.

Love this - huge impact and modern design. What would be an alternative to the flax leaves?

Astelia leaf, foliage from Iris, Hard Ruscus, Rosemary, Cordyline, Are you in the UK?

Any of the Asymmetric triangle designs would be good, or the long and low table centres or a simple L shape. Does that help?

Can we use roses for this arrangement?

Yes of course, any single flower would be brilliant 😁

Sharon - jestem zachwycona!
@sharondower2 ай бұрын
you'll need a larger piece of foam with a section cut out to hold the wine, yes asparagus would be fabulous
