best DaVinci tutorials ever! finally someone is explaining everything step-by-step. without techno music lauder than a voiceover and unnecessary additional things which no one wants to see and hear. amazing job! true and clean knowledge :) thank you! ❤

I'm a newbie at Davinci Resolve, and have been looking for anything related to callouts, for some time. Although I have found some interesting tutorials about it, there's no doubt yours is one to the best. Of course, I have a long way to understand many things concerning it, but at least I have found out a starting point. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us.

thank you so much for your comment and I am very happy to hear that you find my tutorial on callout helpful! well, hope you enjoy learning DaVinci Resolve!

Your tutorial shows how to create this in a much simpler way than other tutorials by not having to create separate trackers, and also how easy it is to connect the pieces to the tracker. It would be a nice addition to also talk a little bit about *why* you choose certain options, like the best match option instead of none, or what the Track1trackerpath menu option is useful for...but I guess we should also RTFM...

thank you very much for the suggestion. i suppose certain information is compressed to get through the entire content, but i agree, discussing these information can also be very helpful.

Thank you very much for this. After watching this video I was able to create my own custom callout with different styling but with the ability to track just the dot on the end of the call out!!! It works like magic once it's done. It's a couple minutes work to import the setings file and run the tracker, but the effort is worth it.

you are very welcome! and I am so happy to hear you are able to create your own, that is ultimately the goal here!

@@videoeditingcentral I followed your video step by step, starting and stopping the video. - I'm now working to try implement some fancy start and end animation features for the text part, like those in fusion titles. They're more complicated than I imagined.

Thanks for this tutorial! I spent hours to study... Now I cn create callout in the same way! I would suggest to everyone to pay attention in the creation of the polygon... for me was natura to add a line... instead start to draw the line after put the node...

Great Tutorial!!! help on how to animate callout disappearance at the end of the clip?
@videoeditingcentral6 ай бұрын
thank you! I actually will have a video out soon on this exact topic. for now, when you make the callout at the beginning, you can also make the opposite animation at the end to complete the effect

This was incredible. I can't seam to understand why when I copy and paste these nodes to another clip in fusion everything highlights red. I thought I would just need to redo the tracker, but I can't even get the layout to showup.
@videoeditingcentral11 ай бұрын
theoretically yes! you should have no problem porting these nodes to another clip, it's in the same timeline, correct? sounds like perhaps the issues comes from the tracker since that does require redoing, basically starting the tracking from scratch.
@i_am_seawolf11 ай бұрын
I ended up having to delete the Media In and Media out node and bring both of those in from the other clip as well. Interesting how it worked. Still required a couple of other tweeks of course and just needed to redo the tracker since it was a different clip. But it worked out. @@videoeditingcentral

Thanks for this, i have a question about the tracker info being visible on screen before the start of this clip and after - how do i only display it when this clip plays?
@videoeditingcentral Жыл бұрын
hi Quintin, so just to make sure I understand, what tracker info are you exactly referring to? are you talking about the callout?

Excellent tutorial! Example 2 is exactly the tracking style I was looking for to use in a project. I never would have figured it out on my own... or from reading "the manual." But with your video as a guide.... perfect! You just helped me learn a new and valuable skill to add to my portfolio--not to mention make my project snappier and cooler. And I love the way you create your tutorials: highlighting the tool or option to choose, even the light sound effects! It makes for a very pleasant and easy to follow experience.
