Good subtle music choice, very clear, very calm, and very professional. Only critique is to increase the screen recording quality, it's a bit hard to see all the values you're punching in :) That being said, really solid tutorial man

How would you place the wind in your scene? Procedurely generate it? Any particular "algorithm/pattern" for how you disperse it throughout your scene?
@Aereton Жыл бұрын
first thing in mind would be to just have an object pool and move them around to be near the camera every few random seconds there's probably a more elegant way to just use that one particle system and have it emit all the variants randomly
@PhilGathany1 Жыл бұрын
@@Aereton thanks, I ended up doing something similar

Interesting effect. How do you make the wind spawn in different heights and places? Do you use a random spot system?
@Hennejoe4 жыл бұрын
For the emitter shape, it's just a very square I think!
@AstroSalamander3 жыл бұрын
I was wondering the same thing and im sure you've figured it out by now but i believe he just smacked emitters around the map. I think pairing emitters with a random spawning script would probably make the best effect

Nice and simple tutorial. Love the quick and easy explainations. However I`m having trouble with some things. The materials I think are giving me troubles. I still have the lead particle even after trying to turn everything transparent and dropping alpha to 0. Not sure what is meant there. Secondly the trails are coming out dark grey instead of white. Any idea where I went wrong?
@rockafellajones87303 жыл бұрын
Not sure if this was the best way but changed the transparent mat shaders to UI/Lit/Transparent and the Wind mat shader to UI/Unlit/Detail. Fixed my issue, hopefully doesn't cause more later.

When building the game, the invisible material used as the particle material becomes visible as a visible square. Any way to fix this?
