Bill I have to say that even if you think those models took forever to make and paint they turned out so well it's absolutely worth it. They're fantastic little pieces of Art and I think you're a fantastic painter when you actually put in the effort to do it.

Every time you say "The build" I can't help hearing "The Billd", which is such a terrible pun that I take self-inflicted psychic damage. I enjoy everything you make. Be it a lino cut, bead bot, kit bashing, or even crustard.

If you want to fix the weight issue, just glue a metal washer to the bottom of the base. It puts more weight on the bottom and it allows for you to store them in a magnetized storage box if you want also

For someone who disparages painting so much and is somewhat self deprecating about it, you are a damn good mini painter. The contrast you manage to get out of your shadows and highlights looks awesome. These turned out great both from a conversion viewpoint as well as painting

I remember the first time I tried kitbashing. I was really young, eight or nine maybe. I used to hang out at my local warhammar store with the owner and his friends, so I accumulated a little pile of everything they didn’t want and I’d make ridiculous creatures out of it.

Definitely glad you decided to build some minis that needed more serious painting, otherwise we never would have found out that Rusters *cook people's limbs just to chew up the meat and spit it out as a form of physical and psychological torture.* Which is one of the darkest things I have ever heard in my life... 😳 Also I love how the Landy has never even heard of leg day... Lol

Super awesome! Its impressive how your designs are somewhere between fallout, borderlands, warhammer, generic steampunk and weird west... but still unique. Not too toony, not too grimdark, just right amount of weirdness. An idea I just had. Since Respite and this whole planet is a giant desert junk heap, it seems like someone who owns a dedicated wash house would be a somewhat necessary service for the town. Specifically Mr. Mayor so he can look after his heirloom military gear, but others as well for appearance and general maintaining of their stuff so it doesn't disintegrate nearly as fast. Maybe this wash house would primarily work with air blasting or 'dry cleaning' as a practical means to get the dust out the cracks. But maybe there's also a special wash room with clean water reserved for higher paying customers. Maybe even a bath house of sorts? And there could even be an acid bath as well to clean up the rust from any metal bits people in town need cleaned for whatever reason. Just a thought, take it if you like.

Hi Bill! I just wanted to say I LOVE your videos! I actually just stumbled across "How To Make Scatter Terrain With Trash", but I'm leaving a comment here because I think it's more likely you'd see it. Most often I come to hobby videos to learn new techniques and get ideas, but I appreciate how you make your videos and the style so much. Never had I thought I would be considering the CINEMATOGRAPHY of a hobbying youtube video?? Your personality and sense of humor is enjoyable, the shots are engaging, the editing and music selection are superb, but most of all these are FUN to watch--all while I'm learning new techniques. Like I'm blown away man. I am confident I could show your videos to friends who have no interest in our hobbying and they would be engaged. Apologies, if its a bit much to leave this type of comment. Just wanted to say the obvious level of passion and creativity that goes into your videos is inspiring, both for my hobbying, but also for other creative works I'll do. Hell, I hadn't even got halfway through that video and I had to come drop a comment hahaha. Very looking forward to going through your videos and learning while having fun! Well anyway, have a great day if you see this man!

Love the minis, especially Tinker Tess! Hope you have a nice visit to the states and have some nice time with those other Crafty folks. No racing to the death, (play nice this time gentlemen), but Bill, I will be VERY disappointed if you don't arm wrestle Bee-Nu at least once during your time there. Betcha he'll win (It's not so much his strength (which is SUBSTANTIAL), it's that he gets in your head while he's gripping your hand...he leans in REAL close and whispers things like "Bill, I'm gonna tickle your beard and give you a KISS")... Actually, I think his wife (who paints) can beat you as well, but she's been known to stomp on your foot "by accident" right before you lock arms...ok that is a TOTAL lie right there... PS - have you seen Firefly? (sorry If I asked you that before) and also... Happy Birthday!!!! xoxo -Volt
