Awesome tutorial! I wanted the final animation to look like the one you showed at the beginning of the video so I have 3 tinsels. It took me forever to realize how to assign different colors to each one. I had to bake it probably 5 or 6 times each till I finally got it correctly. I didn't realize I needed a new particle system for each one which was one reason for me to rebake it. If you don't, it uses the same colors for all 3. Anyways, I also decided not to use an HDRI because I wanted a color background so the background has an emissions shader on it to give light to the tinsels. My PC does not like rendering this. Lol.

Awesome! share the render with me on Instagram :) If I remember correctly I rendered 1 tinsel with a transparent background. then In an editing program just duplicate this animation and changed the colors.

@@3Dschool-David You know. That's smart. LMAO XD. I'm rendering all 3 at once and it's still going. I started rendering it from like 8am yesterday and it's still going. It's probably going to finish at like 12pm today. Each frame is taking roughly 20 mins each. My PC hates me right now. Lol. Anyways, I'll be sure to share you the finished product when I can.

Hey, Great work and keep it up. So one thing I want to request is to help me make broccoli? No such tutorials on that, would you be able to make a tutorial on that? I understand that it has some branches like a tree then on the surface that can be displaced with a noise texture perhaps. WOuld love to havea clean way to do it.

Maybe make a tree, on top add some deformed Spheres and add particle system. also use weight paint or any other way on top of spheres to have particles only there.

@@levankantara Ohhh, that's right. I'm going to try with deformed spheres. Thanks.
