Excellent content, really enjoying your style and content. I do have one suggestion, when trying to follow along, tracking the cursor would be easier if it was either a custom cursor, or even just high-lighted.

How about with the use of buttons?

When sliding automatically is on, the buttons (arrows) disable automatically, but most definitely you can use them instead. Just turn off all "Slideshow settings".
