This is one of the best videos that I've have seen for Autocad MEP and Revit about how to create MEP blocks. Good for you.

hi Alex, nice work btw, i have one question Is it possible to create the MvParts from inventor too?
@bimitup Жыл бұрын
Yes you can. The important thing is to have a solid that can be the base of your part. You can always try a converter from inventor to SAT, DWG, etc.

Hi Alex What about if I didn't have rfa file for my equipment?
@bimitup Жыл бұрын
Hi. In that case you have to first build the solid geometry, using tools like "extrude", "revolve", "sweep", "loft", etc. I recommend going basic at first, and little by little build skills. Contact www.BIMitUp.com if you would like further help =) Good luck!

what is the difference autocad plant 3d and autocad mep??
@bimitup Жыл бұрын
Like many Autodesk programs, over time programs become more and more similar (integrating features from the other). Plant 3D seems to be more oriented towards process piping. See more detailed info in the post from Alexander Sokolov at forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-plant-3d-forum/plant-3d-amp-autocad-mep/td-p/5684369
