is it possible to create conduit as cable or wire (as an mvapart) inorder to get BOM for my project
@bimitup Жыл бұрын
I think you would be better off trying to schedule the conduits themselves.

Great 👍 Can you help me with import a project like this into Revit to make a detailed material list schedule for pipes used?
@bimitup11 ай бұрын
Go under Schedules > Create New Schedule and go from there. Good luck!

@bimitup sorry I am confused.. I have a piping design in AutoCAD MEP, and I need to make a schedule with the length and size of these pipes. What can I do?

@@MohamedGamal-ur6jd Since you mentioned Revit I thought you also had it in Revit. When you link or import AutoCAD MEP into Revit, it is "dumb" information, so you can't schedule. Your best shot is to create "Property sets" in AutoCAD MEP, then tag all and then you can create a schedule. It is not that straight forward, but it can be done. Good luck. (You can always book some time to go in depth) 😉

can you provide us new lecture about the output pdf sample plumbing plan how its looks the presentation, if like the 3/4" pipes is too small if its still readable.

Hi Anzi. It might be a while until I post another video on VESDA in AutoCAD MEP. But I will tell you this: The trick is to display as 1-Line piping, so the diameter doesn't really matter.
