You are my new hero, I am in college working towards my degree in Graphics degree and I am trying to make a creative resume for a project we have. I have old wrinkled paper as my background and I am using your video to create "sticky notes" made up of old stained paper to place on the document with my information on it. I am subscribed and will be watching more of your videos to become better! Thank you so much!

Been using PS for 20 years for odds and ends and never new about the smart layer, super cool, a lot more versatility for blending/burning/screening layers.

This gives you more customization options, and many of the stock images aren't available to use commercially, unless you pay for them.

I didn't like the outcome of this, but I guess it's more about the method to which adjustments should be customized to personal preference. I was also expecting some more subtle aspects of old paper like little bumps, micro fissures, discolorations. Perhaps you will touch on that on another video. Is there any other way to do that without custom brushes and custom patterns?

hey for your text effect tuts, can you teach us how to do the folding paper one? thanks a lot
@HowardPinsky11 жыл бұрын
To place the texture inside the paper. This way, once the Layer Mask was applied, the texture would remain inside the paper, and not overflow.
@IsaKocoglu11 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I agree. But what made you come up with this way? Boredom, mistake or necessity?

Im using adobe Photo shop Elements 10 and there are loads of things on there that i couldn't do that you were doing in that tutorial. I couldn't convert layers into a smart file. I couldn't link my layers the icon was there for linking my layers but it wouldn't give me the option to

For some reason, I cannot get the second new layer to clip to the first. I never get a down arrow. Kudows on making a great video - I like that you get right to the point. Many tutorials waste several minutes before doing what they say they're going to do!
@victoriafarquharson9 жыл бұрын
After I've converted the new layer for smart filters, it still doesn't allow me to open the filter gallery. I was able to do it before, and now for some reason it won't let me. What am I doing wrong?

Heyy, i'm having problems with my texturizer. i mean i can't use it. i See the option but when clicking on it it says the command Texturizer is not currently available. How can i solve this?
@HowardPinsky11 жыл бұрын
Nope, it wouldn't matter if you have both installed. Try to free up as much space as possible on your hard drive. Some tasks in Photoshop require a lot of free space.
