Hey! Thank you so much for the work you do! It's helped make my videos so much more professional and I will definitely be crediting your channel in my videos! Could you maybe make a social media one? So animated Instagram/Subscribe icons? Maybe even one for the notification bell? Thanks again!

I've been a fan of your great videos and have learned a lot, I wish you talked in your videos and explained things in your own words but I'm still very grateful for them. I've followed this video and created a generator for FCPX but when I published the points so I could key frame them. The On Screen "circles" control don't follow exactly once they are moved but do realign only from the start, should I be linking them to something too ? Thank you !!

Awesome! Thank you. Sure I'll give this a try in the future!

But what’s the point with control points? Can you show how it impacts something in FCX?

Hello and thanks for your motion vids. they are really helping me out creating stuff for FCPX. Just a quick question. If I animate the points in FCPX they seem to be in some kind of hierarchy. Point 1 works fine but point 3 moves the entire line without the other 2 points moving along with it. So the osc stay put as the line moves away to give a distorted line. Really hard to animate. What am I doing wrong? Cheers

I'm having the same problem... if anyone knows how to fix it...
@travelnshotchannel19626 жыл бұрын
thanks for the video! May I know how can I combine my callouts with the control points? So that I can move the whole text box when I move the control points. Thank you!

I'm having a problem, when I use the effet inside final cut i can move my points but when I try to keyframe to animate my object only one edge moves well, the others are not well positioned

excuse me for being a noob, but how do you use this plugin in FCPX? Never mind... figured it out. Cool plugin, thanks!!!!!

May I know how to rig the OSC on/off? I tried to rig the opacity of the CP1 CP2 CP3, but it doesn't work

Hi This is really cool, but once we move them to FCPX, does that mean we can animate their movement through keyframing in the inspector, or changing the color of the lines? Because if not, what would you use them for in final cut? I am hoping to use these simple lines as animated guiding lines when it comes to human anatomy movements, such as an arm contraction. Thanks!
@SimpleVideoMaking5 жыл бұрын
Yup you can export them to use in FCPX. Here's an example (starting at 6:00): kzbin.info/www/bejne/qYu6YplvqZ2cnJo

Hi. Can Motion's tracker parameters & controls be published as an effect to Final Cut?
@TheTranq4 жыл бұрын
Hey Again, Could I sent you my Motion file to take a look at? Everything works as expected in Motion but when I use it in FCP the OSC points don't show up. I have them as published and still nothing

Hello, Does anybody know an alternative to this with adobe? Thank you

What were the "track 1, track 2, and track3" when attaching the cross hair track points? Do those indicate the 3 points that make up the bezier line? Thanks
@TheTranq4 жыл бұрын
Also, why even add the crosshair points instead of just controlling the bezier points directly? Seems like an unnecessary step but I'm sure it's in there for a reason
@SimpleVideoMaking4 жыл бұрын
Hi there, yes, they indicate the three points that make up the callout’s line. If you edit your video directly in Motion, it’s not necessary to build these on-screen controls. They are for Final Cut Pro X. 🙂
@TheTranq4 жыл бұрын
@@SimpleVideoMaking sounds good. I was just wondering if you could have the control points (pokes) linked with the Bezier points directly instead of have the intermediate step of making the 3 points?
@TheTranq4 жыл бұрын
@@SimpleVideoMaking Are there any good OSC filters for rotation? I'm making arrow callouts and need to be able to rotate the arrowhead. Right now I'm just using a slider rig but incorporating it an on screen control would be great

When I analyze the first track point, everything disappears, can you help me with this?
@bendavis11357 жыл бұрын
Great video. Ive tried to save this so i can import it into other projects, but the animation doesnt seem to carry over. Am i missing anything?
@SimpleVideoMaking7 жыл бұрын
+Ben Davis Hi Ben, on screen control points can't be copied or carried over from one project to another 😩
@bendavis11357 жыл бұрын
thats a shame. not to worry, ta for the reply. once you get your head around how it works its easy enough to reconstruct after the copy. thanks for replying

After analyzing first track point my layers get grayed out and everything on the view port disappears. Second track point analyze stucks and wont do anything and motion crashes. I did exactly everything like in this video.
@mediamech2 жыл бұрын
Hello, I am pretty sure that you (after setting the settings of the track) don’t need to actually track the shape, the minutes will already be linked to the shape.

I download the file, copy and paste into Title folder (under Motion Templates) and when I restart Final Cut Pro, it does not appear? Am I doing something wrong?
@SimpleVideoMaking2 жыл бұрын
Hi Daniel, it should be placed inside the Generators folder, not Titles. 🙂

What is a control point used for? You never explained that.
@SimpleVideoMaking4 жыл бұрын
Hi David, the control point is useful when you want to create on-screen control handles for a template to use in Final Cut Pro X.
