Great tutorial! I’d love to know how you add the frame/border around the vertical image please? ☺️ Thanks ✌🏼
@TomsJurjaks2 жыл бұрын
Its all done in Photoshop. Select your layer (image) -> Blending Options -> Stroke (change color, thickness, blending mode etc). Also I sometimes add "drop shadow". Pretty basic things, but I feel like it gives a nice touch ;)

why ud not using 300dpi for your blank document?is there any particular reason? nice tutorial btw, this video is what i'm looking for.

This is a very good question and I actually had to look up the information as I forgot the answer already but found it in one blog. Here is what they say: "There's a big difference between resolution needed to PRINT an image, and the resolution needed for an image to display properly on screen. Image resolution is for for PRINT, telling a printer how many dots per inch the ink needs to touch down. A digital image is simply made up of pixels taking up a certain amount of space on your screen. For instance, 800 pixels wide x 600 high. An image will display on screen at whatever pixel dimensions it is set at." So if you are not printing your image then it simply does not matter what the dpi is. For displaying the image on screen - all that matters is the width and height of the pixels. I hope that makes sense :)

Just like you would add an image, you simply select a video instead of photo

Hi there. Loved the video, however i have a couple of questions if you dont mind. When i export the files and save as web it will not save them as jpegs. Also it always cuts little slices off inbetween the photos ( where it has sliced them ) Do you have any info on how i can solve this please

Hi, when I export the pictures they get the .gif at the end even if I select jpeg. Do you know why?
@TomsJurjaks Жыл бұрын
Hmm I remember there was something about it. Make sure you follow all of the steps. Even "slicing from guides" is important, otherwise it wont work. And dont just export them, you must select that "save for web (legacy)" option. Are you sure you do all of the steps exactly like I show in the video?
@n03k3ll3r Жыл бұрын

Not good for me. I did everything you said and i don't get a seamless collage. I get the same result as i post few photos
@TomsJurjaks Жыл бұрын
But don't you get the feeling that you can just swipe and the same photo continuous? Of course the images need to be uploaded separately but they will be seamless once uploaded.

@TomsJurjaks2 жыл бұрын
Hey Angel, thanks for your comment! I also have few carrousels like that. It is very easy to make, you just simply need to export your video in the same format as rest of your pictures and you are good to go :)
