I try to click the divided text, but it just ends up as whole. Direct Selection glitches out and does this weird thing where it tries to connect to the last point.

When zoom into the text and neaten up edges for example I notice the text is pixelated, is this because it's not a vector or set on RGB ? How can I fix this without starting all over again? A lot of tools are similar in Photoshop, so knowing illustrator will help. But, it's overall a very different tool to use as it's much more focused on pixel based editing than vector like illustrator.

@@aaronholmes7708 Yes, uhhh it's been a while since I had the problem. Only thing I can tell you is that everything has to be on the same layer and remember to add the "guidelines" (Idk what it exactly called in Illustrator, sorry) and remember to select EVERYTHING before deviding
