Awesome video and crystal clear presentation. Thank you so much for sharing this useful video. I was really looking for how to make flickering effects on the image or videos and also create like a flashy image changing effects at the beginning of the video on iMovie. Thanks to you for the introduction on keynote app and clearly explaining on how to create those special effects and brining it over to the iMovie.

The best way to do this is to create the slideshow in keynote, export it out as a video file and then bring it into iMovie. If you check out my video on how to use iMovie at the 21 minute mark I explain how to add audio : kzbin.info/www/bejne/qqSxn6h4ibmhmZY

I am surfing through your channel from old to new today. I have learned more today from you about my iPhone and making videos on it, then I have from anyone else in a year's time. I am so excited that I will very soon be making better videos (might be in a few weeks). I am SO GLAD I found your channel!

I forgot to mention that I have been looking for a way to do a slideshow inside a KZbin video for over about 2 years. I have only had A MacBook Air for a few months and still learning how to use it. I haven't yet looked at Keynote. Thank you for a wealth of knowledge. Your channel is so helpful for so many things that I subscribed. You are my hero! And I follow many KZbinrs.

Can you please make a tutorial on how to edit the videos on iPhone using keynote. Because in iphone I can’t trim videos. I can’t adjust the volume of the audio also .

Once you complete the video on keynote you can bring it into iMovie for full editing capabilities including trimming and changing the volume.You can see my video on how to use iMovie here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qqSxn6h4ibmhmZY

I added a few photos with transitions but forgot to do the automatic..trying to get back to change it and am having a hard time...keep in mind I am 75. Lol..
@Touchtechnologyreview4 жыл бұрын
We’ll done ✅ Just to confirm, if you need to go back in and edit the transition tap and hold on the thumbnail. Then tap on the transition menu option, then tap on the transition icon that appears under the slide and now you can change from on tap to automatic....
@arlenemurphy8044 жыл бұрын
Touch Technology Review Was having trouble doing that...will keep trying.. thank you so much...
@Touchtechnologyreview4 жыл бұрын
Another hint. When you tap on the transition icon at the bottom of the page it will take you into the edit screen but you have to slide the panel to reveal the tap and auto options. Hope that helps.

I have a question. I followed your instructions for everything but I also included a video at the beginning of my slideshow. When I exported the slideshow as a movie it won’t play the video at the beginning anymore. Do you know how to fix this?
@Touchtechnologyreview3 жыл бұрын
Not really sure if that is going to work. The video is often dependent on user input to initiate it. Can you see if you can make it auto play the video when you play the slideshow.

How to make the background transparent when making a subscribe button. I set the background to no fill but when I export it in iMovie I still see the background. I have to change the background color to green and make it a green screen effect. Using keynote on desktop you don’t have to change the background color to green
@Touchtechnologyreview4 жыл бұрын
You can export a static image out with no background. When you export select Images then PNG and then tick export with transparent backgrounds. However if you have a subscribe animation and you want to export as a movie Keynote does not export with transparency so you have to use a green screen. I have created a subscribe animation with transparency using my video editor and you can see how I did it and download it for free here if you like it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oabcmWN3j8qeqsk

¡Hola buenas tardes John! As someone who started work, in a freight forwarding environment, where the latest in-office technology was a tape operated Telex machine (you can google that!), I guess back then, I was at the starting line of today’s modern tech. Of course, it’s come along way and, overtaken me in development. However, thanks to down-to-earth and plain-speaking sites, like yours, I can appreciate what’s available to me and, on platforms I actually own and, can operate! So, when this particular presentation appeared, I downloaded the necessary app and followed along. My YT projects will now take on a brand new appearance and, contain much more graphic and, hopefully, interesting content. Keep up the great work John. Un saludo. Gary

Hola Gary. Great to hear that my videos have been helpful! Can't say I ever heard of a telex machine but I did start my career using an old Rolleiflex film camera! We have come such a long way with technology haven't we. And to think you can create such amazing slideshows on your phone on keynote now! Thanks for checking out my content. Always appreciated!
