Yes ! We need these Keynote tutorials. KZbin is lacking of very polished Keynote tutorials content. I always wondered for example how Apple was using Keynote for its presentation. How they animate things so it looks smooth, how they place images so it pops to the eyes of the viewer, how to organize a slide without having too much on screen (what are things to avoid), how they deliver that professional look. So yes ! Keynote tutorials is something I want ! ❤

Dear Samuel, The idea of tutorials is a great one. I cannot wait for the moment you start sharing them. And another idea could be to “share” in a platform (iCloud, Google Drive, …) your examples and creations for the user to download and play around. “Learning by doing”. Keep up the great work!!!

Another comment 😄 You have a brilliant sense of design even if you don’t consider yourself to be a Graphic Designer ☺️ So I would love to see a tutorial about your thought process in creating a poster, flyer, bookmark or any other type of design. It look like you have a fantastic selection of fonts so it would be interesting to know how you choose a particular font for a project to convey your message.

So, finally I have a video proof for the people who consider me a lunatic when I say that Keynote is THE BEST app for creative work. Been a longtime user of this app but got seriously into the commitment for this app since last 4 years and I’ve used it for my master’s degree work(thesis, dissertations, presentations etc), my freelancing work as an illustrator, storyboard artist, logo & graphic design, branding etc and simultaneous passion projects related to photography and designing. As rightly said, this app truly gives you the ability to flex your creative muscle by giving you a clutter free mind space by being simple but not limiting in any sense. Great video! ❤

Hi Samuel, today, I was looking through your old videos because I find them very inspiring. After using my iPad Pro 12.9“ 2nd generation for about 6 years, I just bought the iPad Pro 11“ M2. When looking through your old videos, I found a comment of mine from 2 years ago in which I asked you to make a video about your Keynote insights. A couple of hours later and the first video on my recommendation page is this video. Thank you!

I've been using Keynote since it came out to build incredible elements just like you, from ultra high end presentations to transparent video elements, to posters and more. So glad you are out there showing people how to do this for themselves, it's my favorite program as well and that is saying a lot considering I use 100's.

In combination with the Apple Pencil it's incredible how fast you can bring your ideas on paper and the fact that you can export the presentation in PowerPoint format is just awesome, because sometimes a PowerPoint is a must for some classes i have. This resonates a lot with me. I love Keynote so much. I use it to make visually attractive slides, to animate, to make titles and other things for videos, to design anything. It is just perfect for everything. Once I tried Keynote for the first time I never touched Power Point again. I was always terrified when making presentations for my class, but now I can make really cool slides that give me confidence for speaking in public. So yes, good video friend. And also, I love your stile soooooo much. I have so many things to learn with you . Thanks for sharing :)

Yes please!! I would love to see anything you have to offer. The animations looked particularly interesting, specifically around 3:58. But like I said, I would love to see anything you offer because it all looked so great and I had so many questions. Like how are you getting your handwriting on there? And do you have other repositories where you get vector images or do you just use the ones included in the app? Thanks so much for this. The timing could not have been better because I’ve been struggling with the limitations of canva and trying to find a better alternative.

It's nice to see you use keynote for all these things. There is one more very powerful thing that it does that you only touched on, and that's animation. It's a very powerful animation tool and I used it to animate an entire 50min KZbin video full of nothing but keynote animation exported as video files. Obviously you'll need a separate video editor and a source for audio and voice over to bring the animation to life. But it's so good, that it boggles my mind when I here KZbinrs recommend paid software to produce animations that are quite frankly, subpar when compared to keynote. Anyway, I too plan on creating an animation course for keynote one day. But if you also want to create one then go for it. The more the merrier. Just try exploring it yourself first, it's really good for explanation videos, especially as B - roll showing animated icons that represent abstract concepts.

I love Pages for many of the same reasons. I use it more like a publishing and layout app. It can't do everything but what it does do is very smooth, easy and frictionless. Very under rated applications we get for free with Macs. The possibilities of both are only limited by our imaginations and willingness to experiment.

This was quite a revelation - didn't think Keynote would be your go-to app. I think it's hidden gem in the Apple eco-system! I find it less intimidating that PowerPoint. I've made use of it to make very simple graphics for topology diagrams for work. It's really quite flexible, especially if you don't have expensive design software tools. There may be some cross-over with Pages as this does have page layout as well as classic word processing functionality. Although, I've not really made use of that myself. Demonstations would be really useful.

Hi Samuel, again a great video! Thank you so much. I totally agree and for me keynote is also one of the best apps ever! About tutorials: I think there are at least two aspects that are interesting: ' - one is about the design principles (regardless of the type of presentation or document) - second is about the functional aspects (how to animate, etc ...) Btw.: when I do not need animations, pages (in page layout mode) was my choice ... I guess functionality wise they are more or less the same? If not, maybe a comparison would be nice. Thank you once again for all of your uploads, I love every single of your videos!
