In this video I am continuing my experimentation with real time archviz tools, specifically Twinmotion 2023. I am very interested in this software, for the reasons I outline in the video. Check it out and let me know what you think. Also, if you want to grab the cabin model (and the furniture) from the video (.max + V-Ray file type), check the links below.

FULL DESCRIPTION
Twinmotion has some very intriguing things about it that I think are worth exploring for archviz artists. In this video, I go over those things, but also show my own experimentations trying to create a professional looking project in Twinmotion. It does not go fully as planned. I experimented with path tracing and real time lighting, trying to get photo realistic results. Check out my results at the end, download my models, and please let me know what you think of my experiments in the comments.
Are you using Twinmotion?
Are you getting better results than I am?
Do you use a different tool for real time solutions?
I'd love to hear from you all.

You were sent from heaven, thank you so so much. It"s a pitty I paid for Twinmotion before I came across this video, I could have spend all that money on courses with you😢

That was an amazing video comparing different rendering settings. We architect needs more such content to better understand which rendering software can help us when trying to animate our scene. Next, we need D5 in action along with 3ds max. Thanks

You av done it the right way 👍. Twinmotion isn't just there yet. The system requirement is a lot and then, twinmotion doesn't even match up with neither D5 render nor Chaos Vantage .

Yeah, as others have noted they do have plans to make the rendering better with things like Lumen integration, for example.

making or importing materials in twinmotion would be a solid video to make that would help many!

D5 provides amazing results considering the time it takes to set up and render.

I think the the pathtracer denoiser produces those artefacts. Have read about some people using an external denoiser in a software like DaVinci, but never tried myself. Thanks for the great videos!

I thought it would be that too, but I turned it off and still got the flicker. That said, to me, it still looked like it was being denoised, so maybe it rendered on still. I was finding it a little bit tricky to know where to set those kinds of things, either in media mode, or on export settings, and maybe I messed something up.

Ive seen on TM's roadmap path tracing improvements and Lumen intergarion are being worked on. Im gussing by end of Q4 or ver 2024 it should be intergrated.

Yeah, I have seen that too. IMO, that is much needed.

TM has indeeed a good road ahead, because of epic games/unreal. But what about D5 render (2.5)

I need to check out 2.5, but I did already check out the earlier version. It is promising for sure. Part of the reason I really like Twinmotion is because you can transfer it to UE5. D5 certainly competes with Twinmotion, but not really with the Twinmotion/UE5 combo, IMO. I definitely need to explore D5 more, though.

The interface for twinmotion is kind of a deal breaker. It’s sooo klunky. And out of the box it’s hard to get the lighting to look good. Enscape does it better unfortunately.
