*How to have a North Star*: - ask “where do I want to be 10 years from now?” in both personal and work dimensions - have an important support system - get to know yourself more: * inputs: listen, read, talk, experiment * reflection: turn stimulus down and look inwards. Meditation, journaling, time alone. Take time to piece things together. “What did you do as a little kid before you applied pressure/expectations” “what can I NOT live without?” - honour the KID IN YOU Hope this helps anyone :)

TL DR SUMMARY -"Design : do or plan something with a specific purpose or action in mind." We should design our own lifestyle, focusing on what matters to us. -Lifestyle design is a messy process, our priorities and dreams change constantly. We're learning as we go. -Ask "where do I want to be in 10 years, personally and professionally?" Tools to know yourself better : -Input : learning, opening new doors, experimenting. -Reflection : Meditation, journalling, connect dots together. -Ask :"What can I not live without?" (Expressing myself? Traveling?) -It's not an easy process, so treating things like experiments or games help to reduce the pressure of it.

I just didn't believe in what I was doing anymore. I've been living in a cabin in the woods ever since. The first time in my life I've been alone. I've been trying to find who I was before the "smash" of other people's expectations. I've been writing and painting and loving every minute of being alone. Meditating, praying, resting, letting the whole of my life dissolve away so I can find the authentic self within. My psychology is so light now, that unless I actually focus on it, I cannot even feel my body anymore. I'm happy, joyful, thankful, unburdened, ready for the next season. Change never stops. Thank God. Your message is timely, and many will be blessed and benefited by it, Nathaniel. Soldier On!!!!!

You are so lucky to have found this path, and Yuval Harari at such a young age. I've known since I was 5 years old that humanity was here to learn and move onto a higher god-like existence. I just didn't want to admit it. I told no one. I was that strange child that no one knew what to do with. I didn't have the benefit of people like Harari, nor the almost 41% of the world that is having this shared experience today. But I understood we are more than our physical manifestation on this planet. It gives me great hope for the future in this tumultuous time. There are others like me, who literally feel the hurt and pain from people, planet, animals, insects, plants and rocks. Know that nothing is lost. We were all together once and we will be again. I don't know how I know that. I just do. I've seen it.

When we contemplative, meaning-seeking thinkers say things like “To deepen my experiences as a human being”, we get a little shy about it because a lot of the times, people don’t get it. I get you completely. And I think this video is beautiful

I don't know why your videos showed up on my feed, but your videos make me so much more... Satisfied? Content? It's just awesome. I'm a fourteen year old home schooled christian so I stand out from the crowd and it's hard to make friends and your videos help SO MUCH! Thank you.

Every time you post a video, I know that I am getting an honest reflection of a human going towards something better. The way you present your stories welcomes me immediately. From your tender editing to casual cadence, you glow with honesty. As one of the few people in my community as tenacious about growth as you, I know I am finding someone I relate with when I watch your videos. Thank you for being a leader of growth by sharing your thoughts and experiences with the process.

I was a hippie in the late 60s/early 70s. You remind me of our quest for what was real...only you are way more disciplined than what we were. I am inspired by your journey...and Italy is my favorite country in the world. Rock on.

your way of speaking is awesome! it makes it feel as if you’re just talking to a friend, almost as if you’ve known me (your viewers) for years and it’s great to see someone who’s constantly figuring themselves out and what they want in life to be so open and give others tips so they too can do the same!

This guy seems so intelligent and genuinely like able. In fact I’d go as far as to say his words help accept myself more in some ways as I’m 29 and haven’t exactly given an easy ride. My love of Art and music has been something I’ve clung to tirelessly in all my experiences and I will never let people pry it from my hands until I’m dead

I just gotta say...I came back to this video today and I can`t put it into words, how inspired I feel rn. It reminded me of last year, and the first time that I watched it. I`ve been in kind of a rut lately, a major one actually. Not really taking care of myself and falling back w my work. But myyy god did this help

It is this kind of video where I see myself going backwards every 10 seconds to make sure the information totally infused in myself. Because what you're talking about is really profound and sharp. It really is a tremendous guide, especially in early twenties when this question of choosing a path is daily coming back. You're growing as a story teller, more than ever, and the words, the topics, the examples and the whole progression in your reasoning is getting to point of becoming a masterpiece. Hell yeah, we're all experiencing the same problematic, and gathering all these information in one video helps all of us in this quest of finding the right path in this world. Again, thanks man

The unsexy side that never goes out in social media: it really doesn't matter, 4 real, I had that (to an extent) and I have repeatedly left it behind, both voluntarily and involuntarily, I whole heartly agreed with Drew on this one, whatever matters in this world is God, your family, your real friends, your purpose/work, everything else is icing on the cake.

you are amazing for someone so young. so honest and authentic and so true. id didn't start making long term goals until i was 35. b/c i didn't want to be shut down by anything, but I ended up doing lots but not having much to show for it. amazing way to live the first 3rd of my life though. now I am realising the power of the long term goals.
