Imo, it still depends on the person you're going on a date with. Some would find too much stimuli distressing rather than stimulating that they won't enjoy the date. I'd rather get to know the person in a boring setting and see if we can feel comfortable with it than be with someone who can only enjoy with you under fun circumstances.

woah i had no idea there was actual evidence behind this! every time i went on a date, I always made sure it was an experience that made my date "feel" something, so I always take dates to scary movies, amusement parks like six flags, haunted houses, escape rooms, or traveling to other cities/states/countries to experience something new for the first time!

both parties are nervous. do an activity FIRST that's mildly challenging to break the ice, and reduce focus and pressure on having conversation, like ice skating, climbing, roller skating, gun range (get a good read for this), archery, minigolf, comedy shows, concerts, etc. THEN get food together, as a kind of reward. you'll be more relaxed when conversing, and have more to talk about (ie your shared experience, other things you can do together). as you get more comfortable with each other you can transition to food only dates

Perfect date? Fact is, if a women doesn't like what you like then why would you waste your time with them? Seems like an exercise in pretending to be someone you're not for an outcome you don't actually desire. You can't compromise your character so don't even try. My perfect date is talking without any boundaries. If my date doesn't enjoy that then the date is over. It makes things quick. Hell it's so quick now I don't even have to date anymore. 5 minutes of conversation is all I need to know if she's worth dating and I recommend this method to every guy I know. They don't take it because they're cowards but hey, that's their choice. Presenting yourself as You+ (as in 'you plus something extra' likes gifts, prestige, class, etc) is a great way to get a divorce, not a partner.

warxdrum Yeah I couldn't remember the exact names of the 3 generally accepted theories xP I dislike it when things are final, so I enjoy the idea of the bounce the most because there'll always be a change, possibilities are always changing. It's more like....imagining yourself not existing. On the one hand it may be liberating, but on the other it's also sad, and it can also be stressful if you think of everything you may want to do. I generally don't think I'll have enough time available on this planet to do all that I wish to do. If you pretend to yourself that there is life after death then it frees you from needing to consider that extreme change, which is somewhat calming for me. She's just terrified of everything. She used to be a wildcat and as a kitten she was the shyest of the lot. We've never gotten to pick her up, and she ran away from my brothers pet bunnies once. Idk, do you want to give points? :D
