The story: So a few days ago my crush rejected me 😭 I was literally so heartbroken that I didn’t talk to anyone the rest of that day. I've had many crushes before in the past but they always liked me for my cynical sense of humor right on the spot. It always worked with girls for me. But otherwise they liked me because of how nice of a person I can be towards them as well as support. I had one situationship that ended sour that I had feelings for that I couldn't work out. I've solved the feeling of butterflies by not having crushes anymore. I can "like" a girl physically, but I've realized this holds very little actual meaning. If i like a girls personality, or their smile, this holds deeper meaning for me. This transitions my feeling from "liking someone" (which is platonic) to "being interested". But i don't think of it as a crush. They are an option now, someone i can get to know better and try to be friends with. As i learn more, i might start to be more interested. So far, had a few crushes, only one learned about it, pretty much rejected me, and I've never had a girlfriend. Currently have 1 girl in somewhat interested in, but there's a pretty big cultural difference. Only 18 years old right now, but time is ticking. My old boss was 35 and told me he was contemplating whether he should settle for someone who was already married once or just excepting living by himself because he was still single and it was too late for him. Definitely have time but don't want to end up like that. Also don't want to deal with a "crazy girl" so I'm being really picky. Great video. I'll definitely try using creative jokes to get my feelings across. Being 100% direct never helped me because I am either too nervous or my proposal is too boring. Had the same problem, you just blame it on something else. “Sorry my other personality came out and said some weird 💩” “well that’s what I’ve heard other people say idk if it’s true” or you could say a compliment into an insult “your pretty funny, just not as funny as me of course” “I was impressed by you, I thought you’d do a lot worse” but eventually you just gotta compliment and let it go, just randomly. Give the compliment then move on like nothing happened. I did that and now we both throw a random compliment out in between making fun of each other.
